      @Terry Summers The majority of gulf people is white. Same in the West.
      All countries in the world were fighting their neighbours throughout history.

    • @gagnabil
      @gagnabil 4 года назад +33

      @Terry Summers Muslims don't hate white people. Firstable because their societies, like yours, are multi-ethnic. I believe in the West there are black and white people, so the same in the Muslim majority countries.
      Second, I think that Muslims hate the western policies that interfere with their own business. The West is sucking their natural resources by putting and supporting puppet dictatorships in their countries, declaring war on them, invading, and embargoing their economies, occupying parts of their territories, suppressing Muslim minorities, torturing them like what happend in Guantanamo and other secret detension facilities. Just watch the news and see the situations that happened and still happening like in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Iran, Palestine, Ceuta and Melilla, Chechnya...
      I don't hate white people and nobody does, I'm white myself. But your politics suck and push the folks to hate your unfair practices for getting oil and minerals at low prices.
      Peace in the world bro.

      @Terry Summers I'm sure you'll make some good friends in that part of the world. I've been there, they are like friendly and welcoming. No roberies, no gun shots, no mafias, no cartels like what we see in the Western movies and news. Very safe places with good infrastructure, big malls, skyscrappers, and nice people. I said that because in the mass media they kind of give that picture of Muslims being only desert warriors and camel herders... You will see and judge. Of course they have got their own share of problems like everywhere else but overall nice experience. I made some good trips there. Enjoy your trip.

    • @gagnabil

      @Terry Summers I'm not sure if they are still organizing cross Desert trips by camels. I mean, they mainly do it by 4x4 cars nowadays. Can't give advice about this, but it's safe when it's well prepared to avoid thurst and getting lost. I believe in other countries like Morocco or Tunisia they still do. Anyway, I wish you a good trip.

    I'm Emirati, when my grandmother was 10, she was sent to saudi arabia to comb the hair of little Saudi girls for money, life was very difficult in the early 1900's. After she got married she had lots of babies to support her in life, and most of them couldn't survive, she ended up with 13, There was no such thing as doctors or milk. She wouldn't see her husband for months and years, and every time he leaves he might not come back. They've never heard of food that can be eaten without being cooked or dried, seeing someone eating a tomato was really weird, she was afraid of being poisoned if she ate it, whole neighborhood would gather to see the magical food from the far away land.

      . Trump is just a rich clown who wants to be president. He used the fake word Arabian Gulf out of spite and enmity. Maybe because of illiteracy. Not only Trump, but also Israeli politicians sometimes use the term Arab Gulf because of their hatred for Iran. But something is true. The word is the Persian Gulf. @Abdo Hadad wrong! Ahwaz and Khoozestan have been part of Iran (Persia) since beginning of civilization. There we have the city of Susa( today's shoosh) which is the second capital city of first Persian Empire(2500 years ago). It's never been for Arabs. Of course Arabs have lived there just like many other Iranian tribes like Lors, Bakhtiaris, Persians, Etc.

    • @nimash6273
      @nimash6273 3 года назад

      @Abdo Hadad i meant "Civilization in Iranian Plato". By the way, the name of places do not change when populations change. So if someday Iranians conquer Lebanon and Egypt will you call the Red Sea "Iranian See" ? Of course not. Just the same as Persian golf. It's been called Persian golf from thousands of years ago and it will remain so, whether the area is populated mostly by Arabs or Non-Arabs!

From Achaemenid inscriptions to Greek, Roman and Islamic historians, they have all used the name of the Persian Gulf. All true- Trucial-Oman coast and the boundaries weren't fully agreed upon until the early 1970s (Buraimi Dispute being the obvious example of in-fighting between Saudi, Abu Dhabi and Oman with the British stuck in the middle). Strictly speaking Fujairah really ought to be part of Oman.
      The UAE did not declare independence in the way suggested that is similar to Indian independence- the British simply 'left' and Sheikh's Zayed (Abu Dhabi) and Rashid (Dubai) were begging them to stay. I wish the same was true for the Al Qasimi clan of Sharjah, but that's another even more complicated story.

      @Terry Summers It was incredible. It was everything I wanted. Spent a few night in the desert, drove around and was blown away by the amazing drives in the country. Made me wish I had a better rental car.

      Terry Summers then I got there just in time. I just always wanted to go the Middle East but not Dubai and since Iraq is off the table Oman seemed like good option. It was also conveniently located en route to Pakistan where we were heading.

    • @WillRamirez
      @WillRamirez 4 года назад

      Terry Summers I hear you. I would love to go to Iran or Iraq. Oman is very progressive compared to other gulf states. They have a great diplomatic relationship with the states.

      @user-ch7vk9tn6gTrump's words have no value because historians and ancient inscriptions have used the name of the Persian Gulf. Even medieval maps used the Persian Sea.
From Achaemenid inscriptions to Greek, Roman and Islamic historians, they have all used the name of the Persian Gulf. Even the king of Saudi Arabia used the word Persian Gulf in a letter a hundred years ago.

      @RamyZayn I wasnt gonna argue with that guy because whatever the truth is that most ancient historians called it ARAB gulf. Other than one roman historian. Also, the tribes that are living in the eastern side of the gulf ika iran are arab who still preserve their arab culture. So either way it is arab.

Just like your nation , I don't see Palestine on World Map ! There is Israel ! and under Iran is 'Persian Gulf' on map and history ;)
