Hi chechi! I have read this book in 2019. Like you said, i dont agree with everything he says but, we followed his baby steps and paid off a few loans. Im glad you talked about this! Such a good refresher and motivation 😊
Hi chechi Thanks for this video. We follow these principles without reading this book but believe me these tips works 100%. I am a mom of two , my second one is 11 months I quit my full-time work and going for part time and people criticise but I am damn sure I won’t go in debt becz I worked alot of overtime and saved money so I can manage life with part time job without sending my small kid to day care, I will wait for one more year and yes my husband work extra part time to support our finance too. What ever u do now will help u in future . We always have emergency fund we paid off our one car and other one is almost paid off, yes we cut down unnecessary spending and I track monthly expenses. Thats bring said we dont compromise the extra curricular classes for our daughter, we do shopping , travel and eat out . Financial discipline is crucial and no one taught us in school. My husband taught me . If we tell this to others people feel silly. Those who have good financial discipline have better life.

We are following Dave Ramsey baby steps. It is not easy.. need patience and determination. Took ~3 years for us to achieve emergency fund and 6month savings. $1000 per person in family and Rs.10000 per person in India for emergency fund. Per month total income calculated both in India and US is our fund for 6 months. This is our way of doing it
