I just wanted to tell you that I have been looking up some info on speaker re-oiling and found out that mineral oil is the basis on some of the furniture oil products like lemon oil! So I went to Walmart and bought an inexpensive bottle of mineral oil and wiped it on my Dynaco A25s (wipe on , wait 10 or 15 minutes and wipe off). I am very happy and impressed with the result! This would only be for bare or stained wood or veneers, not for polyed, varnished or shellacked finishes.

I am currently restoring a pair of the AR4x speakers. Your videos are great! Thank you for sharing your experiences, especially with the products you are using for the finishes. I bought several of these last weekend and can't wait to get started. I have one question. In one of your videos, you mention sealing the woofer speaker surrounds. Can you please tell me what product you used for this purpose? My surrounds look like they are the cloth style and seem to be in good shape, so I thought sealing them would work best. Thank you!
