That was the most, polite, refined, description of what we "project specialists" do on an everyday basis. It is in no way shape or form that calm, collective, and controlled. I work for this company. I climbed from the bottom to this position in 5 yrs and it was the most difficult objective I have ever achieved. I can say that with confidence because as unpaved the road has been, it has made me a better person. I manage one of the most high volume areas in the nation and trust me when I say it is "Hell" most days.....but I remind myself, "who else is dong this unique skill?". How many people even have the capacity to understand when I try to describe to them what I do for a living? It's easier just to say I am an electrical engineer. I have pored my heart and soul into this company and I can honestly say I have gotten more out than I have put in.(that was hard to say but when boiled down it is true) The individuals, the corporate structure(which we all naturally despise), the camaraderie, the ability to build a sound self image out of thin air strictly through hard work and dedication. I bat for this team, you know why? I truly believe it is the winning team. maybe not this year, or last, but the one that wins in the most profound way. the way that people don't forget. the right way.
