    The horns give the song an "Earth, Wind and Fire" effect. Great work!

      +oldschool1 Agreed... reminds me of the Phenix Horns (their spelling) on Phil Collins "I Missed Again", or the Seawind/Jerry Hey section on a Scritti Politti tune.

    Tom, I got into you and your fine music through the Dirty Loops "Rude Girl" chart you wrote. This is the kind of music I grew up with, a mix of jazz, funk and rock. Thanks so much! I'm a fan of real music from actual musicians... when I can afford you and your guys, I'd love a chart for a song I'm working on.
    Did you record this in a studio, or in someone's living room? Great sound nonetheless!

    I`m an old R&B guy and i`ve never heard this tune before. After this, I don`t want to. It would be a major letdown!

    What microphones?

    • @tomwalshmusic
      @tomwalshmusic  8 лет назад +2

      @bassboyinc Looks like on this one we used a Neumann U67 on trumpets, Telefunken AK47 on sax, and a Royer R121 on trombone!
