In his memory, the Glenn Gould Estate will release a special two part interview with Ray Roberts, discussing his friendship with Glenn Gould. Episode 1 will premiere on the Glenn Gould RUclips channel on what would have been Ray Roberts' 82nd birthday, March 18, 2021. Episode 2 will premiere the following Monday.

Did Mr. Gould ever played Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor BWV 582?

The only organ recording of his I know of is the Art of Fugue. Unfortunately, I don’t think he did any other, and he never recorded any transcriptions either.

​@@thereyougoagain1280 He made some transcriptions and played them but of course not for the audience. I really wonder how would it be. Usually Bach transcriptions are too much romantic then as it should be. So it's not satisfying enough. Gould and BWV 582 would be the greatest thing ever for me probably.

Instead of uploading this useless interview they should finally work to upload the video of the Goldberg Variations or at least re-master it and sell it on Blu-Ray! Right now, you can only buy a used(!) version of the Goldberg Variations on DVD or VHS! It's ridiculously difficult to get the video version of his Goldberg Variations, let alone getting them on "updated" Blu-Ray quality!
