That Bills defense is the most underrated defensive unit in pro football history. They still hold the pro football record for going 17 straight games without allowing a rushing TD. I think the 64 Bills couldve beaten the 64 NFL Champion Browns in a World Championship Game. If they were good enough to shut down Sid Gillman's Chargers in 2 straight AFL Championship Games then I think they couldve shut down the Browns in 64 and maybe even given Lombardi's NFL Champion Packers a run for their money in 65. I think the 64 Bills were the best team to ever come out of the AFL other than the 69 Chiefs. The 64 Bills had AFL rushing leader RB Cookie Gilchrist.....one of the most underrated players in pro football history. Nobody thought they would repeat in 65 after trading Gilchrist and losing both starting WR's to injury for the whole season. But they pitched a shutout in San Diego 23-0 in the 65 AFL title game after winning the championship in Buffalo 20-7 the year before. The Bills are lookin good right now at 9-4 and only needing 1 more win to clinch a Wild Card berth. Best Bills team ive seen since the 99 team that got shafted in the Music City Miracle game in Tennessee. The Bills have been playing against the refs every week ever since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger because theyre a small market AND an old AFL team

If I recall the last rushing TD before the streak was Mack Lee Hill
