Glad to see the iso on Harry Jacobs #64, an AFL 10-Year Man at MLB for Buffalo (with Paul Maguire #55, LB/P, also an AFL-10 Man).

Jim Otto, Raiders Center, 10-Year Man, never missed a single game during his entire 15 career seasons, 1960-1974, 210 consecutive starts.

I was at that game as a kid when they did the moment of silence in honor of him ( sad story behind that day he was killed )

The Bills faithful have had a wild ride over the years. But my Broncos in the 1960s were worse. God they were bad.

I have to wonder if the Bills weren't actually as bad as their record? Injuries ruined them. I don't know the injury situation with the Eagles in 1968, but they went from a 9-5 team two years before, to losing 11 straight games in '68. I'd say they were a worse team than Buffalo that year. I don't think they had a defense as good as Buffalo's.

That was a rough season for the Bills. Only 1971 did they have a worse record, 1-13.

Who will ever know how this team would have done coming off its championships if the owner , his coach and their players could have coexisted. Somewhere things unraveled quickly . This was the third season after and the team was a shambles already.

If the Bills would have stunned the Raiders on Thanksgiving Day (and they came oh so close to doing so) that may have been the biggest upset in football history.

They would've lost the chance to draft OJ if they'd won

Less than 3 months later the biggest upset in football history DID happen : Jets over Colts in Super Bowl III

@@andyprovin9108 They wouldn't have OJ, his life would have been different. He wouldn't have met Nicole Brown and killed her. Robert Kardashian wouldn't have been famous as a result of the trial..... so if the Raiders had won, we never would have heard of the Kardashians.
If the Raiders had won we never would have had the Kardashians.

Beat the eventual Super Bowl champion Jets once and almost beat them again at Shea. Should have beaten the Raiders in Oakland on Thanksgiving except for Eddie Rutkowski's late fumble. But then they wouldn't have been able to draft O.J ...

but they beat the Super Bowl Champ JETS for their only win
3 pick sixes thrown by Namath

5 in all. Buffalo scored just 1 touchdown on offense that day

Should of been 6, my cousin, Butch Byrd, picked Namath off 3 times, 1 of his 2 pick sixes was called back due to offsides. Still, not a bad afternoon!

Dan Darraugh was the absolute worst QB in Bills history. His stats are just BRUTAL. They're so gawdawful bad you almost can't believe they're real. In '68 he completed 43% of his passes for only 3 (!) TD's and 14 picks and a 33 QBR in 11 games. Yes, I said a 33 QBR. That's a thing that actually happened. He was PUTRID.
