    Bernie, if you read this, know that you've been an inspirational guitarist to me and I'm sure many others. Your work stands on its own and ranks up there with the best in rock and roll. Stay healthy, live long, and keep making great music!

    Nothing but respect for this man. To go into a dream situation with Ozzy like that in only a few days, with no internet and all the tools we have today to learn a song Just the tape or album and go on stage and nail it. TOTAL PRO!

    Bernie Torme is a Tresure. He has endured and weathered many a wild storm. Bernie Torme carves a musical path that is soaked in his signature atomic sound. Theres only one Bernie Torme, and the Celtic Wildman Rocks like Thunder. . Catch the new DOUBLE Album. BERNIE TORME / "Flowers and Dirt" . Turn it up . Thank you Metal Talk. Bahama Kin

    They should do a movie about Bernie's life. He squeaked and wailed with a voice that echoed urban pains and joy. He was unknown for the most part in the U.S. but for those of us who got it, we got to plug into and release after we punched out on the time clock and called our buds up. You got to release the shit of the week! And Bernie's music let us do that down to our last cells. No apologies. We're gonna rock, kick up some dust and mellow out to Presences at the end of the night. "Hey, sober up a bit before ya leave lads." Thanks Bernie.

    Bernie is a legend and so underrated. I'm not going to start any arguments about who is the best etc but please do not listen only to any comments from disgruntled Randy/Ozzy fans. If you have never heard this man check out Lightning Strikes off the Bernie Torme Live 84 album. It still sends shivers down my spine. Thanks for the upload and I salute you Bernie.

    RIP Bernie, top guitarist and top man, a true rock N roller...a very humble human being...a guitar player who played with his heart on his sleeve, even though he was a rocker he always had a very punky edge to his playing and image...he will be sadly missed but he will be never forgotten in his guitar playing...another star is lighting up the night sky:-)

    My 1st ever concert was Ozzy/UFO @MSG April 5th 1982 , one of the few gigs Bernie filled in for Randy after his tragic death ...Randy was my idol at the time and I was so heartbroken not to have been able to see him.

    That twitch he has is really creepy. But, stepping in for Randy so quickly, I think that the guy did a great job. To have to learn 17 songs of Randy Rhoads' guitar playing so fast...fuck, I would have shit my pants. I'm surprised that NO video footage from him playing with Ozzy at MSG in 1982 exists.

    I think a woman is murdered at 6.00. It is sad that a musician of his talent has to make "pledge albums" and embarrassing. Great talent, loved that he stepped in for Randy but that was the end of his career, strange....should have launched him.

    • @JokersWild70
      @JokersWild70 5 лет назад

      Had he stuck around and played the entire "Diary" tour, it COULD have really launched his career. But, from everything that I have read, Bernie was very uncomfortable with the heaviness in the band due to Randy's death, having to use Randy's pedal board, wear Randy's stage clothes, etc. He has said that he felt awful about having to re-set Randy's pedals to accommodate his Fender Stratocaster, but all of his shit was stuck in customs, so he had no choice.
