"Everyone looks at the cost of a decision, but, almost No-One weighs the cost of Not making a decision." ~ JP
Yeah well often we are damned if we do damned if we don't. It's like a choose your own adventure book not sure if you remember those. You can't guarantee a happy ending. Some people feel their life is ruined anyway and are just waiting to die.
This was me until it culminated into a MASSIVE 3 day series of panic attacks. Life (or my body rather) forced me to make a decision, whatever the costs rather than live and deteriorate into a state of paralysed invalidity.

Listening to this clean and sober about 4 years after I first started hearing JP. The richness, value, and honor my life has compared to 2017 is astronomical. Thank you JP. You are a force of good and I'll repay you a thousand times over by living carefully, purposefully, and truthfully....beautifully....far as I can tell.
I believe all Jordan's fans are trying to life a better, helpful, educational life
❤️
Congratulations! Yes Jordan's a MAGNIFICENT force for good.
Dr. Peterson seems to be sharper and livelier with every succeeding podcast he's done this month. I hope this trajectory continues and his health much improves. 🙏💕💪
What is wrong with you?
@@frenchfry4017 a better question would be, what isn’t wrong with me?
@@taraortiz That depends on what your goal is. If your goal is to praise yourself then yes looking at what isn't wrong with you is the way to go about it.
If your goal however is continous improvement then it'd make more sense to look for those aspects of you that are most lacking, so you can focus on improving those first.

Beautiful! As a woman, JP has had a real influence on me, I quote him often. Much love to you both.
Same here!! He’s had a profound affect on my life and I drop at least x1 JP “knowledge bomb” on my friends and family every day. Absolutely love this man and will continue to champion him. ♥️
Same! As a 40+ woman, find him very helpful!
Every time I watch a biased interview, and the interviewers asks what about your audience being mostly white males? I feel left out 😂😂
I like it very much when Dr.Peterson says about these males, is helping them a bad thing? It would help all humanity!
Aubrey and JP, always an instant click for me. Such a beautiful compliment of the soft spiritual and the seeking intellectual energies. Even as a female, JP has shaped so much of what I aspire to be, and given me permission to aspire for those in the first place. Some women have become so hellbent on ‘beating men’ that they have ‘pathologized’ femininity, which I feel JP helped me reclaim. He also has completely shifted what I admire and look for in the males in my life ((especially if their rooms are clean hehe)) ♥️✨
I'm not a disaffected white male, I'm a woman in my fifties from the UK and Jordan has helped and sustained me so much. I'm grateful to him, admire him and hope he can carry on being him. I send him and his family many good wishes and thoughts.
we honestly don't much care what your genitalia are. neither does he. neither should you make it public that you care that you have a vagina. no one believes JP only speaks to "disaffected white males." he speaks to ALL people , but you seem to think your vagina matters in this whole debate...that's pretty damn sad
Jordan, I remember when you talked about how much push back a person may get when they make their room beautiful. And it was because the beauty forces others to recognize the absence of beauty in them and they don't like it. And instead of changing themselves, they would rather denigrate your form of beauty. I think that is why some people decide to try to denigrate you personally and your message in whole. They see your beauty and it really makes them uncomfortable, they don't like that mirror. They might see the ugliness of themselves. So really, if you can do it, just see it as a compliment. You are beautiful, your thoughts and your message are also beautiful, none of it is harmful or selfish. Please let all that garbage fly away with the wind, it isn't yours.
This!
So glad Peterson is back!!!

FUCK YEAH
Aubrey is so chill, I love his interview style
I was thinking the same. This recent cycle of JP interviews is a bit weird and a little repetitive. Aubrey did a great job prepping for this
@@DenHenson Actually Jordan had been interviewed by great interviewers this past week like Tom Bilyeu, Tim Ferriss, and the one before this..i forget his name, was also great in his conversation, now Aubrey Marcus. They're all awesome, but yea at some point a bit repetitive.
@@InfiniteTriztan1111 oh I’ve been following. The Tim Ferris one surprised me.
This is definitely my favorite this cycle, which is not common for me when it comes to Aubrey Marcus interviews/podcasts. Was not expecting such a great vibe. JP seemed so engaged seeing AM resonate with portions of the book. The Tim Ferris interview I feel would’ve have been better if done around the same time as the AM interview; TF is a masterful interviewer. Would’ve given TF the opportunity to read the new book and extract similarly to AM

The more I listen to Peterson in all these marvelous podcasts, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s all about Discipline, Fortitude and Nobility if we choose to play the identity of hero in the game of life.
It’s about remaining obedient 2Da hustle, honest hustle
Yes he's the M. Scot Peck of the age.
That's a compliment.
We love you Jordan Peterson.!!! Keep on trucking!
It's just as dangerous to think nothing is a conspiracy as it is to believe everything is.
True that. I have a friend that considers himself a “skeptic” but he’s only skeptical of ideas that challenge the mainstream lol. It’s like dude you’re really not skeptical at all if you just believe everything that is fed to you without question. I’ve been trying to explain this forever haha
@@BeefyMcHugecock Could be he knows in his gut something is not adding up, but he's fearful of what people will think of him if he challenges the mainstream thought. I'm sure it's that way for many. It takes guts to challenge the media, it's socially risky.
That's not true at all Justin. Believing everything is a conspiracy is what happens to a paranoid schizophrenic, it means you are a completely deluded individual who is not interfacing with reality properly at all.
Believing nothing is a conspiracy is a little naive, buy you are closer to being right than the opposite guy. At least 99% of supposed conspiracies are absolute nonsense and you are wasting valuable time trying to dig really deep into them.
They are not equivalent.
@@StephenIC believing everything is true without researching and/or integrating your personal experience has consequences too. The Nazis believed it when they were told that the Jews were oppressing them. Under Stalin, people believed the Kulaks were responsible for their dispossession so they raped and killed them or banished them to freeze to death. I know this is an extreme example but this is exactly where this oppressor/oppressed narrative we’re implementing has ended up several times in the 20th century. As far as “which one is worse”, I’m not sure, but they’re both horrific when pushed to their extreme. We need to think about EVERYTHING critically.
@@StephenIC It's a bit of hyperbole, but I stand by my statement. The term "conspiracy theory" was created by the CIA to disenfranchise people socially for thinking outside the mainstream narrative. That doesn't make someone a paranoid schizophrenic, that makes them more akin to a contrarian. We need contrarians to hold the government and powerful forces at bay, otherwise, the government and nefarious industries can operate at will, and ultimately screw over a lot more people than one individual. To your point, the very nature of conspiracies make them tough to prove or disprove, and there's lots of gray area between science fiction and a genuine valid conspiracy.
For instance, when there is a media conglomerate that espouses it's messaging through literally hundreds of smaller media outlets, yet the origin of that messaging can can all be traced back to the hands of a few that are telling you what you saw with your own eyes you "in fact" did NOT see, is that a conspiracy? I believe so.
Whether the intent of their conspiring is simply to protect their financial interests, at best, or at worst, to dominate global politics doesn't matter as to whether or not it's an actual conspiracy.
I really appreciate Jordan's honesty and vulnerability. We see you bro
I would like Dr. Peterson to have a channel on SiriusXM so more people in their cars could listen to his lectures. He's the best & all the best to his wife & children.

Jordan is my most influential person that I have read or heard on information to live life with eyes wide open. Thanks for all you do for intellectual ideas that is indeed life changing.
So much wisdom! JP is the greatest spiritual teacher of our lifetime!
Jordan Peterson: what an incredible soul. Such a gift watching this man share his wisdom, and share his presence, thinking, and self-discovery in real-time. Thank you, Aubrey, for always being honest, brave, and available to going deeper and higher into what we are capable of becoming together. Watching out of resentment, arrogance, deceit. Sending so much love and gratitude to you both for saying yes to your daemons, and doing the work between the judgment of ideal, and the mercy of what is present.
Life is the perfect game. When you look back on your past; having done something difficult seems to have the most meaning. Just wonderful!

"gratitude as an act of courage" absolutely, and what gives you the courage to be grateful? possibly love.
How would you define that courage, especially in trying situations?
Prof Jordan Peterson is exactly where I wished he was - Everywhere.
Yeah, Dr Peterson has a very self-critical aspect to him which makes him relatable during the times we beat ourselves up when we aren't as far as we want to be in life. Self care Dr Peterson!!! Self care!! "Treat yourself like your someone who matters" because you very much do matter sir!! You've help me so much with that very quote
Mercy and Grace
I do know what it's like to be in pain everyday it can wear you down so fast. And I've come to close to death many times. I believe that when there's nothing that can be done gratitude sure can be hard to find but find it we do, and we're grateful to be alive.
Onward and Upward !
Forgiveness, humility and truth are therefore your friends
Another killer one by Jordan: “If diversity means important difference, and if important difference means anything, then it means inequality.“ That’s almost as profound as Dostoyevsky‘s take on utopia.
that's... literally a nonsense phrase with no meaning... like... _at all._
@@estoyakula8525 Nick here misquoted it. Ol' stinky Pete actually says: "if 'diversity' means anything, it means 'important difference'. If 'important difference' means anything, it means 'inequality'."
It really makes perfect sense.
@@radfonts9609 Because if everything is equally important or everyone is equal then it means equal outcome -which creates inequality?
Am I understanding this right?
@@olnusdecimus It's impossible for everything to be equally important. You have to choose to do one thing over another, or you do nothing at all. You have to make value judgements; this is more important than that. Also, as much as people hate to hear it, or admit it to themselves, inequality is a natural result of the fact that some people are just better at certain things than others are. You can't just get rid of it, it's baked in.
So back to ol' stinky Pete here.
"If diversity means anything, it means important difference"
The differences in people are important. The fact that someone might be better at something, or have a different perspective on something is a good thing because it means that one person can make up for the shortcomings of another. Good. We all benefit if we work together in that manner.
"if important difference means anything, it means inequality"
Since some people are better than others at certain things, inequality is going to manifest naturally. We can work hard to reduce it, but it'll always be there.
@@radfonts9609 thanks for the reply and answering my question. If I'm honest I haven't watched the interview yet, which I will. I just found this comment fascinating.

Aubrey, thank you so much for your approach to this interview. It was lovely to hear someone sharing their gratitude to Jordan for all he’s done and is doing for the world.
Much love and gratitude.
Some people accuse Jordan of perpetuating an agenda, being narcissistic, etc. Its so interesting how warm, vulnerable, balanced, and objective this man can be when he's at home with someone as friendly as Aubrey interviewing him. Best interview I've seen with JBP not having to be the character we expect him to be or defending himself against some journalist looking for a payday. Thanks!
The fact that he puts forward fallacious arguments in a warm, calm manner doesn’t refute the accusations against him. The fact that he is this popular speaks to how unread his fans are

So either all those people who are his fans and colleagues are stupid, including the faculties at McGill, University of Toronto, and Harvard for hiring him as a professor, or, there is something about him that rubs you the wrong way and you're attempting to rationalize ideas you find challenging as stupid and not worth considering. Dr. Peterson seems and sounds like himself here. His energy, passion, quick wit and recall, mannerisms all feel normalized...even his humor has returned. So wonderful to witness. Love this. His voice is what I remember "pre-crisis." Godspeed good Dr. 👌😎🦋💜
We need you Jordan Peterson. Bless you for continuing to bear the cross for us all. Hang on for all of us please, some of us may make you proud.
grief has all the wisdom, lessons, and gifts. ive done it. ball your eyes out!!!!!! watch the traformation and transcendence! Jordan Peterson your body is speaking to you. time to let go!!!!! world needs you and your teachings!
Jordan is awesome. Marcus is also. Thank you both for having love for people enough to help us with the information that we all need. You are the glue that helps hold us together.
I love how often Jordan does podcasts. I could listen to him for 90 minutes every day.
I do actually listen to Jordan everyday for 90 mins or more. And sometimes at work more then 4 hrs.
Sometimes I feel like Jordan guides the conversation as center staging and not having a dialog, but just telling how it is and what it is.
Jordan is a blessing to the world
This family’s resilience for the greater good of the collective consciousness is nothing short of heroic. I acknowledge and thank you on behalf on my fellow humans. Nick
One of the best and greatest people in the world ...Hope all his family is well and Jordan keeps on helping all of us in his own wonderful way ...We love this guy so much
Aubrey you speak so beautifully eloquent and emotively articulate.
Jordan needs to realize the gift he is to humanity as skip reviews, the emotions generated by negative response can make one very sick and blindside and play down the priceless gifts he shares
Two beautiful humans speaking their truth.
Jordan is fascinating as always. Aubrey strikes me as someone that is lost in new age idealism.
It's a very interesting conversation.
Aubrey's spiritual background elicits questions of a different sort and Jordan Peterson can then illuminate his concepts in a way he wouldn't do in a different setting.
Very appreciated!
JP is my blessing. Life is so much better since I stumbled upon him. Thank you
The renewing of the mind is possible and far more attainable once born again
Love this, and love your message Aubrey! Keep spreading your own truth, and trust your intuition:) Lucky enough, you are not alone in this, and people like you actually make me feel like there is a hope in all this complexity and chaos.
I grow up with my grandmother. When I was a teenager and she did not agree with my friends she used to say to me "tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are" It is simplified, but I did understand what she meant.
Yessss!! We're back baby!!
Thank u for giving me the courage to be grateful despite the current horrors of my reality
'My depressive temprement precludes any intense biases in my favour. '
I laughed so hard at that. And I'm totally stealing that line.
You are supported and loved, my friend! I see you, and I hope you move toward your dreams 🥂
What a beautiful melody of two legendary divines that have helped me find the spark to reignite my soul so that I may be a instrumental part of society in a selfless way. Thank you Gentleman
Don't be selfless, though.
always remember....everything you are....and the things you've learned....person who you become right now....always start at home
It's a good day when you see Jordan Peterson healthy enough and have enough energy to speak his mind on a regular basis again.
Amazing pod cast welldone gents - Aubrey your an ace listener and I feel such a channel for when you do speak for the words to flow through so elegantly! I cry at everyone of your pdcasts (wish happiness or empathy!) x
Seems like Aubrey brought out some of the best in Peterson. Not in an unreasonable manner, of course, but the conversation did seem delightfully playful and stimulating, not only for us listeners!:)
He's back and better than ever. I hope he feels better soon.
I absolutely adore the conversations that you and Jordan have. It’s so different and sustaining compared to the usual interviews he does. Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Thank you, Aubrey! Apart from enjoying the interview as such - I really enjoyed seeing JBP genuinely happy to be talking to you (something I haven't necessarily seen in many of his other interviews). Go Aubrey! 😊
Chronic pain is a bitch... insidious and relentless... debilitating. I can'tbelieve he can even sit through an interview. Just another reason to be inspired by him. And he's grateful...SMH. .
I'm so happy to see Jordan getting better over time ! It's a pleasure to see his health improving ! I hope that his depression is gonna go away !
Love Dr Peterson!!
I hope Dr Peterson is back the world needs him
Man you really crushed this. Great job. You brought some really great stuff out of Dr Peterson (and ive watched and read so much of him). Loved this.
