I know the feeling; sometimes when everything catches up with you, you just want to give in and wallow in the feeling, even if it isn't healthy, and it can be irritating when people try to drag you out of it. But wallowing doesn't feel good either; sometimes you just need to take a step back and think things through.

Though she seemed to be coping well on earth, I always felt that these fears were always at the back of her mind at the very least. I heard that the comics are canon as long as they do not directly contradict anything in the show, so I guess this is canon too and it explains and confirms a lot. In season five when she decided to leave, that was because her anxiety peaked at that point upon hearing about a possible war happening again and the diamonds possibly coming to earth, but these fears had always been there. She was never fully over it, so what she did wasn't an out of nowhere or out of character decision at all as some people seem to think. These thoughts had always bugged her so when she left it was just the climax of everything, she couldn't take it anymore as she felt that her fears were about to be realised and she just wanted to go with what she loved, as much as she could take with her

Inconsistent height has always been a issue with the show. Its just one of the things Steven Universe fans deal with to enjoy the show.

See, these are the actual episodes/comics where Steven is his best. He isn’t some saint who can solve every problem that he comes in contact with, he’s just a goofy kid who genuinely wants to help his friends however he can.
He doesn’t have all the answers, and he can’t help everyone perfectly. But he tries.

He kinda knows how it feels to be scared all the time so I think you should have addressed this in this comic. You or whoever does it anyway. But that’s jut my opinion it’s still great
