Great video! Both keyboards are fantastic. I almost got the PSR-E373 last Christmas, but had more money and bought a Roland Go:Keys, instead, because the Yamaha was not in stock at my local music store. The S1 was not as available at that time, but I am definitely getting the S1 next. The PSR-E373 is great if you need more than 61 voices and the arranger functions, but I prefer the Casio S1. They both sound nice, especially when you're playing them.

I like the sound of the E373 listening on my laptop. I believe the 373 is at least $100 to $150 more. It appears you are partial to the S1. You are an extraordinarily fine pianist. It seems your mix and match with two keyboards works well for you. The S1 is a very nice compact keyboard which has a lot of advantages. I have the Yamaha DGX-670 which I have combined with Pianoteq Pro. The grand piano sound of the two combined is extraordinary. Have you tried playing the Yamaha from the Casio or vice versa? Is it even possible? The touch issue with the Yamaha may not be as important as you think as it relates to a listener, but if it bugs you that's what counts. If I was just buying one and didn't care about the size I would go for the Yamaha however many people have purchased the S1 and like it a lot, including you.

One year after this video, the PSR-E373 is still great, and now, the PSR-E473, and even more do, the 76 Key PSR-EW425, with it's louder speakers and some extra improved voice tones if you want an auto arranger. The latter is probably the best 76 note keyboard at that price range. Something I would get primarily for the larger keyboard, something I would get if I didn't need an 88 note weighted keyboard, which I would opt for the Roland RD-88.
But I love my new CT-S1, and get very inspired with you playing that, the PSS-A50, and the Reface CP that I may get in the future. Thank you again for your great, amusing and relaxing videos. Your humor and cute cat and animal touches and video production is great. The CT-S1 is unmatched for the sound, keyboard action, portability, design format and versatility for it's price. It would be great if they came out with an updated model like I stayed for semi-professionsl use with ¼" stereo output & headphone jacks, pitch bend wheel metal speaker grilles, and maybe 128 note polyphony, which is really not necessary for a non auto arranger.
Also amused at that video with your huge seaweed wrapped rice ball, what we call musubi in Hawai'i.
I also plan to get a Roland Go:Mixer Pro-X that seems to have a lot of flexible and useful applications for a small performance, live streaming and recording setups. I have the original Roland CD2 CF/CD professional recorder that can do a lot of things.
I also plan at getting an Apple iPad 6 256G in the future to go with my 3rd Generation iPhone SE 256G zi may be able to use similar to your video using the PSS-A50, MacBook, iPad and iPhone. Many RUclips reviewers rave about how the iPad 6 is much better overall than the other bigger and more expensive iPad models, and easier to handle for the size.
    Aloha, and Arigato.

    購入していると、家がキーボードで埋まってしまうのでw
    今両者の説明書を読んで検討しているところです。
    EK-50はS1と比べてどう思われますか?

    • @pf_masa
      @pf_masa  2 года назад +4

      EK-50は弾いてみたことが無いのですが、出力端子でLINEOUTを装備しているので、気になっていた機種の一つです。音色が気に入っているのでしたら、買ってみてとことん使い込んでみるという選択肢もありますね♪
       私はS1は買って一年になりますが、ピアノ系の音色が好きで、コンパクトかつ軽量、量感あるスピーカがとても気に入っています。

    • @liryu1973
      @liryu1973 2 года назад +2

      @@pf_masa その後いろいろ検討したのですが、EK-50は安い中古が今出ておらず見送りました。
      CTK-6250と7200が各1万2千円くらいであって、音源はAHLなのでAiXと比べると若干クッキリさに欠け
      拡声器的というかカセットテープ的な音の悪さは否めませんが、比較しなければ音は太く迫力もありました。
      そんなわけでシリーズ最高スペックの7200よりもメタルレッドが美しい6250を購入する気まんまんでした。
      が、寸前のところでPSR-S550がなんと一万円でメルカリに出品され、慌てて確認。
      検討したどれよりもよい音で高スペックと判明、苦手なシルバーにも関わらず即購入してしまいました。
      10年モノの中古ですが比較的キレイに使われていて、液晶が大きく、なにより音が凄い。
      このクラスのキーボードに触れるのは初めてで、感動しきりです。
      よく知らずにJUNO-Dが8千円で売れてしまう様を、「古いしスピーカー無いし」と
      指を加えて見送ってしまった後悔があったので、良い出会いに感謝しました。
      子供の頃から何度も楽器に手を出しては続かずでしたが、今度こそ!と意気込んでおります。
      いや~このクラスの音・・・聴くだけでニヤニヤしちゃいますねw

Thank you very much. Your reviews are very useful. Specially this one cause I have bought a Cts1 just a few days ago. You put the Cts1 next to you I see something of your evaluation in that position as you are very cautious in the comparison. The other the phrase for the Cts1 "I can use it in a live performance" in my opinion reveals your choice. I have used a Yamaha e273 these days and my new cts1 and after playing in the cts1 really the PSR 273 keys result bad. the 373 has similar keys.
And the 273 is not nice because the volume doesn't vary and the 373 you say also doesn't detect your pressure too much.
So, I think that I did right buying the cts1. Greetings from Argentina Republic

I was able to play the E373 at our city's store and it kind of felt stiff when pressing the keys...like I can't really connect into the keys how I feel when playing (I'm used to soft touched keys since I own an old Casio and been meaning to upgrade)...
