I have an m4 Delica, hap40/sus410 Pakkawood version, a 20CV wharncliffe and a k390 wharncliffe. Wonderful knife for edc. Probably undervalued these days

I just snagged one from Amazon warehouse deals, new with damaged box for 100€. Before it was discontinued it retailed for 150 or more, now you can't even find it so I guess it was a good find. I used to have a Salt Wharnie one, that I then sold it because I wasn't completely happy with edge retention. Honestly I don't mind using this wharnie for food also. The stock is so thin that even with reduced contact with the cutting board it still works pretty good. It's also great for peeling and cleaning fruit. The fine tip is awesome for so many things, and the straight edge is also great for making fine wood shavings to use as fire starting material without slipping. There are so many uses foe a wharncliffe. Some people simply lack the flexibility to give it a serious try and learn its perks, so they get stuck in the "leaf shape or nothing mentality" and miss out so much...

The ultimate delica hasn't been made yet in my opinion. It's a K390 Wharnie with an Emerson wave.
