Dual lockout is a great idea. I thought with these high-end forks, a lockout is no longer necessary? At least that is what I was told when I bought my Pike Ultimate.
The geometry on these new XC bikes is nice. I no longer feel like I might go OTB when hitting the downhill.
F1 bike put it up against the spur in the mountains. We want to see bear hoti trails. That would be a fun video.
I'm with you on the cables running through the headset. I don't like it either, I have the same on my Cube 😖
10k ridiculous
One bike is not worth 10k. For that money I want multiple bikes that are capable of more types of riding. I have a fat tire bike for snow and river bottoms, a gravel bike, adding a less expensive full suspension would give me a lot broader range of riding options for the money.

Didn,t GT bikes have a channel in the frame for all the cables? It was a clean look…without the hassle of internal routing. Also the channel helped strength…stiffen the frame.
Surprised its a 120mm rear suspension that shock looks tiny!
10k… no freaking way! I’ll put my built procaliber against that any day. Full carbon, XT build, SID fork, weight is a few ounces under 23lbs. At 1/2 the cost. Just finished a big MUDDY mtb race and lemme tell you… there were MANY people wasting their water bottles on their derailures because that electronic crap got so gunked up nothing would shift. Not one problem with good ole XT mechanical!
Wow an old Scott spark with the headset cable route down grade.
I love the raw carbon look and the over all looks of this bike, but I would never buy one. In 2024 an XC bike needs to hold two water bottles in it's front triangle.
