Raid the highest difficulty you are able to each week, farm Mythic plus at 17 or higher (18 if you want better loot in your weekly vault), and upgrade the gear that drops. Done and you're minimum 483 if you don't raid mythic or play anything higher than a 17.

@sormon7660 you overestimate most of the community. When I'm doing my 20s for vault on Tuesday people STRUGGLE. Hardly a button pressed in the way of cooldowns or kicks. Normally that wouldn't be bad, I can just heal through it. But they're under geared and die instantly

While that all seems nice your forgetting one thing people are very picky who they take into high keys. Also it depends on the afflixs, your io and ilvl. My hunter BM is 481 ilvl and she can barely get into a 20 key these days. So it's not easy when you don't have friends or a guild to help carry you through 18s & hand you gear.
I’ve just been listing my own keys and I put in the description that I’m learning. You’ll find a lot of REALLY high bored people that will come.
So makes friends and join a guild that does keys. Other WoW players are just nerds like you, they don’t bite.

Bro you be amazed how many high l.0 scores these 480s have but they can not tank ,dps or heal and then when you out perform in house nerfs apply like tf ..is this back to console lol forever at first the backdoor nerfs were rumored then i deleted files reset and sure enough sims before and after dungeoun were way off same dung same team almost by 100k say it isnt so

definitely something to do if you want to get a good head start going into S4, since we know that ilvl is gonna scale one more time to hold us over until TWW later this year. that being said, if one doesnt care for S4 and are taking a break until TWW (like myself) they are best suited coming back in time for Pre-Launch, as there is always a really fast way to gear up just before the next expansion releases.

I have a doubt, I hope you can help me, I am a ret pal, but I want to help my team with a healer, but every guide I find is for an alt and not for a secondary spec, would it be better to have two characters, a dps and another healer or on the other hand, have a single character with different specs?
So the advice on how to easily gear alts is to do high end mythic plus? Why didn’t I think of that?

Ive returned to wow after a year break. My kid now sleeps in hisnown room! With that said... i logged in and i am trying to do the main questline to save the new tree but i have no idea what events are relevant these days. There's so much going on compared to when i stopped playing.

You forgot to add you need to have the enchanted crests crafted after buying the nascent crests from the vendor
I’m at 466 as my brewmaster and my lock but at least I tanked a m18 and get the chest on reset
I send honor to Alts and get fully geared and then do content via LFR. Its much easier as such.
if you're talking about fastest way when doing m+, you actually want to farm +19 dungeons because they drop 2/6 on the hero track and +18 is only 1/6. This saves you from farming 15 additional crests per piece of gear later on which amounts to 20 fewer total dungeons you need to run.
Let’s be honest, you only need to go as high as the first upgrade that gets you the mythic xmog, since xmog is the real endgame :D
Simple answer, you need to continually spam 18's to farm crests (16's and 17's also give you crests but not vault). Every thing you get is going to require aspect crests. Everything. You can't craft 486 without them. You cannot upgrade to max level without them. You cannot mail them from one toon to another. Don't even bother with anything under an 18. Post your own key and bring in geared people, you can downgrade aspects crests at a 1:1 ratio to upgrade Veteran and Champion gear. That's it. Spam 18's until you're burned out.

It has MAJOR issues
1) the buyer has to be M+ rated 1000 or higher, this is per toon... so sure your main may be, is he at the flightstone cap?
2) the boxes are 100% RNG loot... You'll realize how fun this is after spending 900 flightstones on a cloak, a cloak and a cloak for the same alt.

You forgot the timewalking raid quest which gives a hero level reward for completion. As well as champion gear drops inside raid.
true, not all timewalking has the raid as well so I thought it to be too niche to be relevant
Stil relevant imho. Its a huge jump for a fresh 70 toon and a serious gap closer for higher ilvls.
I'm still leveling my alt to 70 so I don't want to give up yet but yeah this seems a little depressing. As long as I can have multiple ways to get competitive gear using different methods then I'm happy.
You can also buy a box from dungeon teleport panda send too your alt for a random 441 piece for price of 300 Flightstones
And that box is 100% RNG... anyone who has farmed Emerald Dream 441s know Blizzards idea of RNG boxes is 3 cloaks in a row followed by 2 necks, then back to cloaks.
I don't want to do the math on how many 1,000s of flightstones you'd need to actually get the 441 gear you want on an alt using just RNG boxes.

2:13 +18 is 467 hero gear for end of dungeon gear and 480 myth vault loot. FYI.
Fully upgraded they become 483/489 respectively

As someone who plays +20s only
I got to a point i had to refarm 11-15s so i could unblock the 16+ currency to upgrade and i didnt want to do a bunch of face roll keys.
They should allow the aspect crests to exchange for the 11-15 crests at a very high rate so elder game players dont have to back track farm.
I never really understood the point of flightstones. It just makes the uppgrade system feel unrewarding and backwards. Basicly you never want to uppgrade lower level items because its a waste of flightstones. Wich in turn makes the lower level crests useless. Honestly dont understand what purpose they are supposed to fill. The crests on their own should be enough to uppgrade the gear. That way it doesnt feel like a waste of resources to uppgrade lower level items
if you upgrade a piece its permanently discounted for future pieces in that same slot. Not a waste.
@@southpaw8 think you miss my point. Theres no point uppgrading a lower level item since the flight Stones get used. Then you find a higher level item and just wasted the flight Stones for nothing really.
The flight Stones just dont fill a purpose imo. If i could uppgrade the same item with only whelpling crests it wouldnt feel like a waste.
@@southpaw8if you upgrade a piece of 441 to 463, then your vault or Mythic + run gives you an item that STARTS at 463, you did waste your flightstones... now you need flightstones to spend upgrading the 463 piece, but you blew them upgrading the 441 to 463.

1) 441 gear is upgradable to 463, not 476...
2) Shit is random as hell... you can't buy specific gear, only RNG boxes... after you've blown your entire Flightstones budget on 4 cloaks and 3 necks, you'll understand how inefficient this method is.

I'd love to do 18+ or higher but it's hard join a group with that lvl when I have the DPS to do it. Especially getting an invite for Mythic Raids when I've defeated all the bosses..

no, in fact they'll likely show much sooner. but, the ilvl of the tier will be weaker and you basically want the best ilvl version possible, which starts at +17 with Hero and Myth comes more often at +20 and up.@@reeceblais8755

Anyways some clarifications... +18 Mythics is by far the most efficient method, though end run rewards 467 and vault is 480 (yes, I know they can be upgraded further, but thats not the point of this video).
If you're upgrading Heroic gear (467) to Mythic gear (480) you're going to need a ton of Flightstones and Wyrm Crests too (most efficient Wyrm Crest farm is +11s, btw).
Seeds in Emerald Dream award anywhere from 5 to 20 Flightstones each depending on how grown they are (like full 100/100 is 15-20 Flightstones each).
Also, killing the Superbloom final boss rewards roughly 25 Flightstones per kill, he can be farmed every hour all week if you want.
you said about Raids and Dangeons, these are not quick methods because getting into the party means a miracle, wasting the whole day preparing the party, so don't cheat, it's not a problem for people who spend 10 hours on this game
M+20 drop 470 vault 483
450 wont get you invited to heroic raid. Its 475+ .I m 465 and i barely get accepted into heroic raids.
I just hate how it’s always rng dependent. You finish a dungeon? Rng to get a drop. You kill a raid boss? Rng to get a good roll on it. You kill a world boss? Good luck getting that to drop anything. I wish we had mor fun (not necessarily easy) systems to get good gear while still providing a challenge.
All you need to do is do everything you already know and don't want to do.
Sadly i have to wait hours to get invited to a M+ and it’s not even a +16… on my main (476)… and my alt (457) hardly gets an invite to hc raid… actually he hasnt cleared hc yet…. idk if I can say it’s „easy“….
If you want to be invited:
1) be a tank
2) be a healer
3) be waaaay higher ilvl than anyone else queuing.
If you've taken the lazy way out and are an average ilvl DPS, you're going to wait hours for an invite... that's how it's always been, that's how it will always be.
If I have an alt that can tank or heal, I tank or heal and I get invited quickly... if i have average level alts that can only DPS (say a mage) and instead of waiting, I run my own key so I choose who i run with... it's not that hard.

Run a +2, +5, +8, +11... it'll go up if you don't want to wait hours on que.

Do the super bloom event every time it spawns for flightstones. It awards them in the hundreds everytime it’s completed.

@@fauzannizar897 you don’t get quest reward more than once per week but get dew drops and loot rewards outside of gear drops. The final boss of the event is always lootable and dew gives better opportunity for epic seed rewards.
When you start upgrading good gear you will find the flightstones become the biggest hurdle. Save them

I no longer do dungeons because of the number of Aholes playing that trash talk players, kick players and expect everyone to have spent 40 hours watching dungeon play thru videos before they join in. Upping that to Raid level means joining a guild which is another crap shoot. I've heard stories of favoritism and backstabbing that I want no part of it.

Not everyone is in a guild so running m+ isn't the answer for a lot of people.

Guys if you want to get into groups and create groups for +18 on your alts, get at least 2.7 k Rio on main. Gear your alt to 450-460 (takes less then 1 day) and you won’t have issue with gearing alts. Don’t expect to be invited to 18s on your alt with 1.5k rio in main.

Alternatively, you can get ilvl 476 gear instead of 480 gear by doing LFR and Hero Dungeons and having your gear crafted.
Thst would be 100% crafted gear taking a minimum of 9 weeks and probably a good chunk of gold, and crafted gear can't be converted to tier for xmog which is what a lot of people want.

How this helps me ? That's not faster at all , it requieres time and ppl giving me help the whole time , yo guys there's no easy way to do this , this is hight lvl content , welp u can always buy carries ... Thanks for waiting my time though

Ya I stopped playing retail after I killed Fyrakk Obama on heroic and hit 2k rating. Started playing wrath classic and having a good time. Brings back memories of me ditching school with buddies to go to Burger King and play wow :)
Comparing WoW to rocket league or other fast paced games isn't even the same.
I'd like to see how you perform in WoW to see how you can call someone out like this. WoW is very complicated with addons, UIs, min/maxing, stat prios, rotations, CDs, boss mechanics, professions, consumables, enchants, currencies, etc.... Nearly every player researches their class and spec on external websites for hours upon hours, using raidbots, raider io, etc. It's like a second job.
I've played this for 18 years and it comes easy to me. But you coming at OP isn't right, they're completely correct. You just might be one of the exceptions and able to jump in and understand it. Most casuals aren't like that and will turn tail near immediately.

Honestly, all this farming for Flightstones and Crests is slow as fuck. And tedious. The actual fast-est way is to take keys by brute force, spam them, and loot your way up to +18s. Still not fast. Just fast-est. You're welcome.
Man I hate the gearing system in retail. I have no clue why they feel like they need to make this so difficult to understand.
Give us one currency and make it farmable in ALL content. Make it slower to grind the currency for easier content and faster for harder. Allow a piece of heroic dungeon gear to be upgraded all the way to 487, but it would take a tremendous amount of currency to do that. Like hundreds of heroic runs.
I don't get why they insist on locking casuals out of even the best gear. Most people aren't going to want to do +18 keys or are even capable of that. Not to mention Mythic raids...
Let the sweats grind the currency as fast as they can in harder content but still drip feed the more casual players the ability to get the same stuff but at a much slower rate.
I've been playing this for 18 years and I just refuse to even try and commit my remaining brain capacity at remembering crest needed for certain armor tracks. What keys are required to farm crest, what difficulty raid to do for certain armor tracks, etc... I already have to remember every mechanic of every boss in the game and my rotation, CDs, etc. I'm pretty good at this game, I can't even imagine a new person trying to get into it... Lol
they dont want people lazily farming gear with no challenge, instead they want players to actually play content, this is not going to change no matter how much you whine about it, this Blizzard will never budge on as Blizz has seen people be degenerate with farming currency with minimal effort for YEARS.
