This may be a hot take, but princess peach showtime, honestly gives me Luigi's mansion 3 vibes, how you're exploring a building, each room having different themes. Also, how a vacation gets ruined by some kind of corruption from a boss
The game is looking really good so far. It's nice that Peach is finally getting her own game again. It looks really unique. I'm also glad that Peach's game personality is still intact. Now that I think about it, this entire game kind of reminds me of LM3 in a weird way. Also, what Peach was using in swordfighter form was a rapier, not a lance lol.
Princess Peach Showtime looks fantastic and the new antagonist looks great and the new companion Stella looks so cute and the transformation looks fantastic cause can be a sword fighter, a detective, a chef, and a kung fu master so I'm so excited for this game to come out next year and also for some reason Princess Peach's voice sounds different did she have a new voice actress or something? And also people are saying that this game almost reminds them about Puppeteer on the PS3 which I mean it does cause you have the stage and you have companion so it does kinda reminds me of Puppeteer on the PS3. But what happens if Mario was in this like what if he got captured by this antagonist cause i would imagine if that happened in the game but I'm so excited to play it when it comes out.
The big bad In this story looks like the final boss in kirby triple deluxe. I don't know why I thought of this when I saw it but thought I should just say it.

It's great. Maybe we'll have actual lore in that game, because Mario games (the main ones at least) don't really have deep lore, characters, stories and worldbuilding. I mean we don't even know what the Mushroom Kingdom is like canonically. Even with Hyrule, that has A LOT of iterations, we know what its map is like overall, we know what species live in it, where, and what living in this world is like. We don't know any of that in the Mushroom Kingdom. We know there are a lot of Toads, but we don't know what is the place of humans in this world. Are they just as common as the Toads, or are they pretty uncommon ? Are there other species ? What is the exact reason why the Goombas, that used to be residents of the Mushroom Kingdom, betrayed it to join Bowser ? What's the history behind that ? Why is Bowser even doing this ? Is it really just because he loves Peach, or maybe that life in his Kingdom is difficult. That the land is lacking in resources, and his people are poor. I mean Bowser's Kingdom is often portrayed as being made of dark rocks and lava, which is not a great place to live in. Maybe that he wants to conquer other Kingdoms to provide a better life for his people, but even before that, the other Kingdoms saw him as a monster (partially with reason I suppose) and refused to provide help to Bowser's Kingdom. That idea alone brings a lot of depth to Bowser's character (I mean he is a caring father so why wouldn't he be a caring ruler as well ?), and to the nature of the conflict against him as well. So let's hope that this game has lore. As Nin10doland said, the plates in the detective area might be the lore around Stella, the creatures working in the theater and the theater itself. The lore surrounding the Sour Bunch and their leader could be great as well. It's unlikely, but let's hope that this is the beginning of having a proper canon lore, worldbuilding, and maybe even layout for the Mushroom Kingdom (and the other Kingdoms maybe). This would be so interesting, I want to see this someday.

This is definitely the game i'm looking forward to the most (besides wonder of course), for some reason it gives me Balan Wonderworld energy. But in a good way, like much better than that game.
I am so pumped for this game, it is like a dream come true! I’ll be honest, Final Fantasy 10-2 was like a core game for me growing up. I loved seeing these confident and silly girls basically have magical girl transformations and have all these different outfits to gush over, I was obsessed. So having Peach, who similar to the main character Yuna, was a side-line damsel-in-distress in previous games, not only be the main character, but be actually FIGHTING is SO meaningful to me. Gah, I was really hoping for another game like FF10-2 to come out, so I’m kinda hoping it’s more like that and not just Kirby with a different swatch. (Don’t get me wrong, I love Kirby, but I don’t want to be fed the same game in different coatings)
I know this theory might be a bit far fetched but what if Stella is the Wicked grape. She is only posing as a good fairy who is helping peach but in the end she is Revealed to be the villain.
Game looks fun. I wouldnt put it past if co-op gets added and Peachette becomes playable via maingame or added content. I would be suprised how the setting really reminds me Dynamite Heady from Mega Drive, but with Peach's and Kirby vibes mixed together. Can't wait for the full release when i got from my own hands... 😉

The title is, indeed, Princess Peach Showtime! from that Nintendo Direct that I watched yesterday morning and now that we can see some of Peach's transformations, that DEFINITELY gives me ALL THE MORE reason to grab this game next year after I get Super Mario Bros. Wonder first.
