James Garland You may as well say that 44 is less than 0.00000000000000001% of the world's population as it would be as relevant. You add up the number of likes and the number of dislikes and then find out the percentage of dislikes from there as the people who didn't 'vote' are not relevant in your survey.
If we dislike it, the video wont get shared as much. Meaning less chance of youtube finding it then taking down the video.

When discussing the train journey with the downs kid, i love how Karl says "Everyone ignored him, but i probably made his day good", and Ricky says your a nice bloke to Karl. I find that quite sweet.
i love these shows. ive tried listening to them as i go to sleep but it cant be done. i turn it up loud enough so i can just about hear the talking. but then ricky starts laughing and its like a fucking fire alarm. almost makes me jump out of bed.
someone should remaster these recordings to lower the volume of his laugh so i can actually listen to it while i drift off to sleep

Well my daughter and I do...I can watch him all day long...the people that don't find it funny, is because they have a hard time understanding them.. I watch alot of BBC tv....I love their shows more than ours....lol..anyway, I can understand them and laugh so hard.

Karl is NOT dumb. He's just not from earth. He shows some ignorance from time to time, but he's fascinating because his thought process is so completely alien to the rest of us.
This side of the pond, we have these things called reality shows. THOSE are what happen when you dive deep into the life and thoughts of someone who's just dumb. Using those as a control, it's easy to see that Karl is anything but dumb, or else this show wouldn't appeal to the intelligent audience it currently holds.

You've never been in the same room as him either and you've just made at least 2 assumptions about him. He knows what he's doing is funny, which is why alot of the jokes from the show have been repeted on TV. I'm not one of these people saying it's scripted, it is all coming from Karls head, but he's clearly playing up to the fact that everyone thinks he's a moron. He's probably not the sharpest tool in the shed but no one's that stupid.

Merchant's stories are better than Karl's or Ricky's but Ricky is the better catalyst for Karl to evoke utter nonsense. I believe the animosity between Stephen and Karl to be genuine but harmless like two brothers having a go at each other. Ricky steps in from time to time like the older sibling to sort them out whilst enjoying the tit for tat for a bit along with the rest of us. Thanks be to (insert personal deity here).
Karl isn't created but he certainly isn't as stupid as he makes out, he knows what he's saying is funny... Most of the time anyway. I think 70% of the time he's just playing around.
