- With the recent release of the Persona 5 Royal ports, (almost) every piece of DLC, which were originally paid for in the PS4 version or from the Vanilla P5 legacy pack, was included for free in the disc/cartridge if you got it physically. These will showcase the DLC costumes that actually change the battle and victory theme.

UPDATE:
It seems that, for whatever reason, Atlus made the Royal DLC bundle for the PS4 version completely free, therefore making all the DLC costumes also free.
This now means that if you have ANY version of P5R, (PS4/PS5/Xbox/Switch/PC), you’re now able to get all the DLCs for free! Only difference is that the Raidou outfits are exclusive to the PS4 version.
unfortunately vanilla P5 still charges for its DLC.

@@saviorus1239 it's not laggy per-say , but you may be turned off by the frame rate (30 fps max) ...i certainly enjoyed it
Is the dlc already included in the game? Or i have to look it up on the psn/xbox store?
Just wished we could play it all on random without changing costumes 😅

I remember my head spinning when I saw all these costumes for the first time because there felt like there were so many references I didn’t get and thinking I’d never know the origin to all of them, but after like 2 years with the SMT franchise I know all of these like the back of my hand.
The Battle for Everyone's Souls is my longtime favorite battle theme. Glad to know this song is included... 🥰🥰🥰

I put Vincent's outfit on at Sae's palace and just assumed it was because of the finality of the palace.
Didn't realise it was because of the outfit.
Vincent is so underrated. Literally a perfect Battle theme
Imagine if some of them changed other tracks, like the boss theme as well. Imagine getting the SMT IV boss theme, literally one of my favorite standard boss themes of all time.
I know it’s one year late, but hearing Bloody Destiny or something like that would be awesome.

good thing it's been years since the last time i played persona 1. tha fakin high enemy encounter rate made a lone prayer, a nightmare to those who have played it
smt if hands down will always be my top used costume.
I am currently doing a mod that replaces almost every Soundtrack of the DLC costume. This video was good reference material which DLC includes which Soundtrack. Thank you :)
3:55 I love this one. Though I've barely played SMT If (Maybe an hour?), this version of the song is way closer to the Amala Network battle theme in SMT3 Nocturne, which is a remake/remix of that original song and where I've personally heard it for the first time. It's a banger, even though the Amala Network I believe you only visit once early game so you don't hear it anywhere else. I'm definitely using that costume when I get around to giving Persona 5 another shot as I never finished it.
EDIT: Correction, there are other places you hear the song in Nocturne, but I never bumped into it at what I think is the halfway point in the game or so. Hadn't finished Nocturne either 😅
The Karukozaka High outfits to me have the best themes! They’re reworks of “Akira Volume” and it sounds so amazing! And that victory theme!!
Thanks for this! I wanted to find all the songs featured for each dlc cause most of/if not all of the featured ones are the most recognizable for each title.
That Persona 2 music 👌 is so good
IMPORTANT: The music only changes, if Joker (Ren/Akira) changes his clothes.

It woulda been perfect to use the SMT 1 outfits with the og Battle theme and Boss theme.

Do you know what version of p5 royal do you need for this dlc? I want to buy it but don't know if this comes with the ultimate or normal editon of p5 royal

I had no idea the songs were included with the songs, I know what I’m going to do during NG+ I’m already towards the end of the game so I’ll just have fun with the music and outfits in the new save 💖

My favorite is Mass Destruction (P3), also because After The Battle really is the perfect "after the battle" tune.
I also really like the Reach Out to The Truth/Period combo (P4:Dance) as well as The Ultimate (P4:Arena Ultimax).

Izanagi-no-Okami Picro became my main persona I use, in the orignal game I had a super hard time beating the final boss (g o d). But in royal it was so easy (probably because I had futabas confidant maxed out and was level 75) The gifted personas are so op. Plus at level 92 it unlocks the abiltiy to reive joker when dead. which also helped, so far I have not died either!
(ok maybe I did die to a stupid level 50 jack frost but shhh we don't talk about that one)

Been playing with the St. Hermalin's one most of the time, such a nice track, but the uniform fits Joker so well too

While I absolutely love this touch, I was really hoping to play through the game in full power ranger 'featherman' costumes but the music got dull too quickly. Wish there was a way to play other music while in these costumes.

It’s weird how before I played SMT4 I thought the songs for the costume were kinda bad but after playing SMT4 I found myself really liking the costume music

What version of p5 royal do you need for this dlc? I want to buy it but don't know if this comes with the ultimate or normal editon of p5 royal
There’s a few to choose from, if you’re on the original PS4 version, I believe you’ll have to get the ultimate edition which gives you all of the DLCs, I’m not really certain how much it costs
But with the ports that came out in October (Switch/Series X/PS5), almost all of the DLCs are included in the game, no matter the edition
Tldr - Ultimate edition if you’re on PS4, any edition for the recent ports

the raidou outfits ate the best ones and are only for ps4 :(
Catherine is one of my favorite games ever, so those outfits for Vincent, Catherine, Orlando, etc. just feel right for me.

If I remember correctly, they didn’t add the Raidou outfits to the ports cos of localisation stuff, not too sure about the Velvet Attendants though

I just want Last Surprise. One criticism I have of Royal is that when you ambush an enemy, it always plays Take Over. I like Last Surprise much more and always have to avoid ambushing enemies if I want to have it playing in battle 🫤
For me is the other way around, Althought I will say both are Bangers ngl!!!
I prefer Last Surprise over Take Over. To listen to Last Surprise, I would have to either attack a shadow from the front or get ambushed. Either way, I will have a disadvantage at the start of the battle. It is a shame because there is a simple fix to the issue: let people customize on whenever we should listen to either song with the Persona 5 themed costumes under certain circumstance.
