is the higher base damage on fathomblade with the 1% hit/chance on hit better than verigan's fist?
Horn of Lordearon increase with levels, its like 20 agi and str at lvl 20 not 6.
Ah so 3/3 set is BiS, I thought so, 1% hit is always good to have

Martyrdom or martyr for short, is pronounced "mär′tər-dəm" Marter. Like smarter or carter, starter, parker, barter etc.
As a British speaker, we'd say "mar-tur-dum", but any variant works. It's just a word.
From what I understood you can switch the runes on the go if you are out of combat. Would be interesting if you could macro the runes and switch them like we did with the trinkets on pvp
not sure how long it takes to switch runes but you could theoretically have multiple pieces of gear with different runes on them and then just gear swap out of combat to achieve the same effect.

I think Divine Storm, Crusader Strike and Exorcism is going to be the optimal PVP build for ret pallys. Exorcism being an instant, ranged and hard hitting finisher

@@sephylys135 Yup, pally already has hammer of justice and seal of justice. If your going PVP then your gonna want Exorcism for when spellcasters are out of range and for runners considering pally has by far the worst mobility in the game
@@outinspace8760 HoJ isn't really enough to fight casters, and SoJ is a meme.
We already have more than enought damage with Crus+DS, rebuke is the best choice.

Reading on the forums, and discord, I read that prot talents for the first phase works better for pvp

So far Seal of Maytrdom is huge for mana regen but DS for sure is gonna be massive for pvp

Swap macro and avengers shield is pretty dope and does basically more burst than exorcism. I’m thinking for pvp I may like it more than exorcism. Ppl think they’re clever kiting paladins.
Yeah, I'd never use exorcism over AS. That slow is so nice.

You can’t really have it shoot out your AS because of a GCD, but that macro will swap between your 2h and 1h/shield with 1 press freely,

I love my giga chad savix ret paladin (#1) and it makes me happy to see the more classic guide video.
Its easy to forget savix is Pogchamp rank 1 PvPer after months of hardcore gameplay.

Do you think we will see paladins kill others while bubbled again? Classic's bubble negative effect is double swing timer, which is fine in classic since that's the main source of paladin's damage, but in SoD paladin will be able to melee you, CS, DS, AS/Exo while in the bubble dealing 100% dmg?

The avengers shield ability doesn’t say “requires shield.” If it’s the case that shield is not required I will definitely be rocking that glyph for pvp and pve
It doesn’t say it requires a shield in Wrath of the Lich King classic either, but it does - so I’m assuming it will here as well.
It also doesn't have a CD listed, doesn't mean you can spam it. It will 100% require a shield.

Even if it does require a shield, having a shield macro to use this as a slow in pvp as a gap closer is going to be very useful imo. Especially when hunters and locks are going to be a big issue.

Does Inspiration Exemplar saves your ass from fear/sleep as well? not only team members that near to u how it says?
does anyone know is there a debuff limit?, will feral beable to bleed on bosses etc now? or are dot classes still at a disadvantage?

Is the improved might talent better than horn of lorderon? Not sure if the agility makes up for the pure attack power.
I do believe it’s better than blessing of might however the horn takes up a crucial rune slot taking away from your basic rotation
im a horde warlock player so i literally wont need this but im just here for the vibes

Appreciate the video and your content as always! I just want to remind people that season of discovery should be mostly about discovering stuff, playstyles and everything that made the original vanilla great. If people start to blindly follow BIS lists and guides even at 25 .. oh dear
they will, everyone plays the meta nowadays.

So I'm debating how much of a DPS loss SoM is vs SoC in raids. SoC can only proc up to 7 times per min from what I've heard for 70% weap dmg. JoM hits for 70% weap dmg and talented to 8sec that means you can get 7.5 judges per minute which over a longer fight might beat out SoC's proc, if it procs a pure 7 times per min. Question is, will SoM's autos = JoC. SoM might be closer to SoC than we think. Testing required >:)
So Im wrong on this matter. You will still use SoC and seal twist SoC into SoM. Both SoC R1 and SoM cost next to no mana at all. With JoW up on the target plus the mana restore from CS, SoM and BoW, Ret should be just fine. Might not even need Benediction and spec 5/5 into Imp might. The only way Ret will drain mana will be Exorcism or divine storm imo but well have to see how it plays out at 25.

u can enchant ur boots with increased move speed and put 2 points into crit even in pvp build:) 2% crit is way better than the enchant on boots, also the verigan pala quest mace we dont yet know if its gonna be there, as it requires you to do bfd and considering the brd is now a raid, maybe it wont fck up

You get the quest item outside of bfd. You don’t actually have to do the dungeon.
If you take Pursuit of Justice the 8% speed doesn't stack with enchants so they are pointless

I believe crusader strike actually gives u mana back a lil, but divine storm costs a base mana %.
Let's all take a moment to appreciate being a paladin enjoyer, before it's revealed that we're super OP and everyone bandwagon rerolls.
Blizzard has a nasty habit of making rogue/mage/lock completely busted, and be left untouched for several months.
only metaslaves would do that, and they probally go hunter or warlock instead

I know its gonna be tricky to get at 25, but Pursuit of Justice only gives as much as minor speed to boots so it's not really worth taking at that level. Also don't go 3 points bene and 5 points imp might if you wanna get to Command everybody in the world underrates parry in PvP especially at low level. Even 3 points in it puts you at like 8% parry which is cracked for parry haste and mitigating damage from warriors, druids, rogues, and enhancement shamans. Also you gotta get eye for an eye man even if it means less crit especially which how much damage casters are getting. Also you gottaaaaa get more stamina on that gear for PvP. Priests are cooking PvP bis lists with like 500 more health you shouldn't be running around with less than 1.2k at this level in PvP tbh

yea and he is forgetting vanilla has half the spells in every class's kit are locked behind spell hit lol (it's why t3 war gear gives them 5% hit on taunt). 50/50 chance they didn't port over the wrath version of hit.

@@hydraulixx Mainly talking about PvP, but even then, the enchant that you put on your boots gives you the same amount of Speed as PoJ so when you get that enchant you are wasting 2 talents...

Not sure you can get the helmet until end game with a bit good gear with a full party (or probably a second party helping) because you need to kill the elite mob Morbent Fel and he is 32 and VERY STRONG.
no he's not. you just kite him while you deal with his adds and either reset him or kill him around a corner. He's as easy as elites come

actually all the best pvp paladins are getting 3 into parry. 0 might it does nothing gives me 2 dmg nah rather have 5/5 ben for mana. parry does more for you and increases dmg you do and reduces dmg u take.
