- Do you need an automatic watering system for your gardens or your animals? Rainpoint has you covered! They have a bunch of different systems, but for $60 bucks you can have a wifi enabled app that allows you to water from your phone! You can set up any timed watering system as well! I haven't flooded my pasture since getting this handy little thing!

Thanks for showing your remote control water control device that can be controlled by your phone. Nice idea! Thanks for the app tip, I'm sure that will help someone else who gets one. Thanks for this video Flannel family!
Love the hat.
Such genius gadgets to make life so much easier. Glad you could adapt it to fit your watering needs.
Set it and forget it . I installed a not smart programmable timer for the veggies and flower beds several years ago . Got it from Lee Valley .It runs on a 9V . Highly recommended . You could salvage a toilet tank and set up a top up system for the cows
tub / trough or even buy the parts from a big box store.
I love the summer hat look .
Hi Brian! Hey, if you can do all that, I'm sure you can solve the 'button issue' by adding a pipe extension, (we did it for our excessively high-tall shower pipe, and it works great!)
I added a Y and that solved it and allowed me another hose section for closer uses. 😀
Thanks!
Briaaaan, get a angle hose/faucet bib to give you about 5" of clearance from the spigot, and get a brass shut off valve for the end of your hose.
I added a brass Y, fixed the issue, and gave me an extra connection for close stuff.
Modern technology! Thanks Brian, great vid once again. Very useful.
Thanks Brett!
Great hack! Thanks
Great Idea😊
Im glad to see your review right now. I have a pair of rainpoints in the garage awaiting the drip system being installed in our raised beds.
I dont love the fact that they require an app as i prefer local control of all my devices, but its a step up from the hose timers that you can get at the big box stores.
They have some that come with their own touch screen controls but they are more expensive.
Put a short hose between the faucet and the timer so you can turn the faucet handle?
I added a brass splitter. It gave me the length I needed and gave me an extra hose bib for closer water uses.
@@FlannelFarms That'll work!
Not meaning to be snarky - just helpful. (I am not Karen!)
Oh I didn't take it as a Karen comment at all! I'm always open to ideas! Please keep them coming!

Maan... Leaving water on - and overnight?!...tsk, tsk... I've heard about those kind of people...
...although, I may just have to get one of those gadgets... Just, you know...for convenience...🙄
🙏🙏
Haha, yeah man, I forget all the time. Get busy with other stuff.
Mrs. Flannel even likes them and she is really NOT into tech and gadgets and such.
@@FlannelFarms I'm not into it either!! (...as I reply on my smartphone...ugh...)
