You know, this is truly heartbreaking coming from somebody who’s had the experience of feeling alone. In the same respect, you also have to take a step back and assess yourself and assess your situation and how you treat others. That alone plays a huge part in whether or not people want to be no around you or even want to be your friend. My mum was very emotionally wounded throughout her life. This resulted in her constantly guarding her emotions and feeling 'attacked' if anyone was to critisize her. Social media and all these hyper phone technologies has made it harder for people to create genuine bonds and friendships! My grandmother always said you are lucky if you have a few good friends, your whole life. I sympathize with her. Narcissism is not easy to recover from, especially when you've used it to hurt so many people. The moment Gabbie Hanna sees her past with perspective and uses it to sympathize with those shes hurt as well as come to terms with all shes done, the forgiveness process can start. As a recovering iv opioid/meth addict I can definitely relate to that feeling. But luckily I got help for my toxic tendencies, made amends & started completely over from scratch. I remade myself into someone I can be proud of today & started treating the people around me better. Do I still have issues? For sure. As someone who was a severely depressed and anxious teenagers, i did some shit and treated people the way ik i shouldnt have. But i have to live with that, and i do everything i can to be the best version of myself. Gabbie may not be the problem in and of itself, (everyones has flaws) but she definitely has a “taste” in friends that she seeks out that are just not compatible with her/ good for her.

I can relate to not knowing how to navigate life and having regrets on how I handled past actions, but also you have to remember that you’re doing the best you can with the knowledge you have in THAT moment. Current you shouldn’t blame your younger for what they didn’t know, because if they didn’t make that choice you wouldn’t know how to handle it better in the future.
I feel like the problem lies with the fact that, she was a victim in the beginning. That was because of all the bullying she received from David and others. I feel like, after that she picked up on some nasty habits from her bullies. Im not saying, just because she picked up those kinds of habits we or especially her victims should forgive her. I’m saying she has a thought process that she needs to work her self away from. She was a victim in the beginning, but she isn’t anymore. And she became that very thing to protect her, which isn’t good. hey here’s a story, I lived w a roommate for about a year. she would tell us (me and other roommates who all developed a friendship w each other) that her last roommate experiences were horrible; she was bullied, she was ostracized, she was left out, etc. and seemingly (according to her) for no good reason. well let me tell you, there’s always a reason, as we quickly came to find out. For me it was the opposite. One of my so called friend was a narcissist bc she didn’t want to understand that she doesn’t really care that she dated someone who hurt me emotionally. And my other friends were on her side

My mum was very emotionally wounded throughout her life. This resulted in her constantly guarding her emotions and feeling 'attacked' if anyone was to critisize her. She refused to see her mistakes because she knew it would feed the negative thoughts she already had about herself. Its quite a lonely world when your mind is that wounded. I get the feeling gabbie has been going through something similar, and I wish them both the very best 💛

Social media and all these hyper phone technologies has made it harder for people to create genuine bonds and friendships!
People don’t make as much effort because they could just spend a few hours online and be just as satisfied then having a visit from a friend or vice versa. It’s pathetic that so many people have to feel saddened this way because many people don’t make efforts to connect and allow people to just be anymore!
My grandmother always said you are lucky if you have a few good friends, your whole life. It’s great that she can reflect on things that maybe she has done in the past and hopefully the next time she has a friendship, it will be a good and long lasting one. As we age, we all evolve and it’s a good thing.

I feel so bad for her honestly. Everybody has growing pains in their teenage years and early adulthood but most people’s fuck ups and wrongs aren’t blasted out to an audience of millions who HATE YOU. it’s clear she’s lost and struggling, I think most people can relate to that. Yeah she hasn’t been the best person in the past, but she’s not an evil monster either. People are so *cruel* to her and they don’t even know her…I hope she is getting the help she needs, and finds a good strong loving support network to help her to learn and grow.

I sympathize with her. Narcissism is not easy to recover from, especially when you've used it to hurt so many people. The moment Gabbie Hanna sees her past with perspective and uses it to sympathize with those shes hurt as well as come to terms with all shes done, the forgiveness process can start. Then the friends will come. The lonliness will subside. But she needs to understand her past from the perspective of others first.

As a recovering iv opioid/meth addict I can definitely relate to that feeling. But luckily I got help for my toxic tendencies, made amends & started completely over from scratch. I remade myself into someone I can be proud of today & started treating the people around me better. Do I still have issues? For sure. But I’m healing from lots of trauma & I have more true friendships than I’ve ever had in my whole life. I hope she can find a way to do the same for herself.❤

Sometimes, unfortunately, you have to take accountability for what you may cause towards others. As someone who was a severely depressed and anxious teenagers, i did some shit and treated people the way ik i shouldnt have. But i have to live with that, and i do everything i can to be the best version of myself.
Gabbie may not be the problem in and of itself, (everyones has flaws) but she definitely has a “taste” in friends that she seeks out that are just not compatible with her/ good for her.

I can relate to not knowing how to navigate life and having regrets on how I handled past actions, but also you have to remember that you’re doing the best you can with the knowledge you have in THAT moment. Current you shouldn’t blame your younger for what they didn’t know, because if they didn’t make that choice you wouldn’t know how to handle it better in the future.

I feel like the problem lies with the fact that, she was a victim in the beginning. That was because of all the bullying she received from David and others. I feel like, after that she picked up on some nasty habits from her bullies. Im not saying, just because she picked up those kinds of habits we or especially her victims should forgive her. I’m saying she has a thought process that she needs to work her self away from. She was a victim in the beginning, but she isn’t anymore. And she became that very thing to protect her, which isn’t good. She has hurt a lot of people and I hope that she sees that, gets therapy (and listens to the conclusions they give and follow in the steps of the advice so she can heal) and maybe one day she can be forgiven. But it’s to early to tell because of the path she’s on with the lack of accountability as well as diverting from the truth.

hey here’s a story, I lived w a roommate for about a year. she would tell us (me and other roommates who all developed a friendship w each other) that her last roommate experiences were horrible; she was bullied, she was ostracized, she was left out, etc. and seemingly (according to her) for no good reason. well let me tell you, there’s always a reason, as we quickly came to find out. Girl was narcissistic and crazy. So if there are people claiming that they have no friends and are actively refusing to admit they’re the problem, then that’s why they don’t have friends.
