Scottish ASMR is one of the best I'd put at top 3, my top 3 best asmr accents would be; 1. Australian 2. Scottish 3. Indian I just find all of these very tingly lol so if u agree like this comment :)
I am so glad I found you!!! Love these videos! My name is a Gaelic word so I have ALWAYS loved Scotland and everything about it! I would LOVE a whisper video! Thanks for doing what you do!!
I would really really love if you would consider doing a face/camera brushing video with rambling. I love your voice, so relaxing. And face brushing is by far my #1 visual trigger, always rocks me right out, so that would be perfect!
There’s a part in this video that reminds me a lot of the Flemish (Dutch) we speak. “Rieken” is a dialect word used in Flanders for “ruiken” which also means “smelling”. You gotta love Scottish😂
that's true Armin (flemish here as well), my partner is scottish, will never be able to talk like him :) he cant do flemish either (after 2y of lessons still nope) he does understands us good :)
im really starting to love your channel( also because youve been dealing with dp as well, which makes it even more personal lol) Do you consider making like a 1-2 hour video? I need something to fall asleep to :D
Sounds great! But 1-2 hours might be a bit much for me at the moment, I can barely squeeze a 20 minute vid without noise in my house lol. I did do a 1 hour live stream a few weeks ago, not really ASMR of course, but maybe I can do something like that again. I hope your DP is improving! :-)
okay^^ye live stream is also cool, its like asmr for me. Ive been very hyperaware which makes my derealization very intense and exhausting. But ive been at an acceptable level with it before.Ill get there eventually :)
OMG I have always loved Scotland, it's people and yes that accent, not to mention men in kilts! Thank you for doing this, until I can make my dream trip there, i will keep listening and dreaming. :)
How do you tell the difference between how to mean "how" and to mean "why"? Is it ever ambiguous or is it clear from context or intonation? I've occasionally been confused by it listening to Scottish people (I'm English).
I've realised a commonality. All the times I've heard it (I'm not Scottish though as I said) seem to be just either "How?" or "How no?" in response to something else. Is that the main determining factor or can it be used to mean "why" in other situations?
Ich kenne Dich means I know you in german. Knowledge though is Wissen in german, while Kennen is knowing as in recognizing which is er-kennen. But in the middle ages it was probably used nearly interchangable.
@@ASMRMuzz I would adore it but I understand if you’re not comfortable. Perhaps a video of you building something and explaining what you’re doing as you do it.
It just took me by surprise is all, clicking on your vid expecting to hear Scottish words & phrases, but the first thing I heard was “Kia Ora”. Alas, I went through your other vids and learned that you spent 12 years here, so it’s all good.
Actually, you’d be surprised. I’m not aware of wherebouts you lived in NZ for those 12 years, but if you go to Southland & Otago provinces (at the bottom of the South Island) that entire area was colonised by Scottish settlers in 1850-1900s. For example: Dunedin was designed by surveyors to mimic the city of Edinburgh, and also its name is from the Scottish Gaelic for Edinburgh: ‘Dùn Èideann’. So a Scottish-Kiwi combo isn’t totally out of the question-if you ever hung around that area, you might have people believe that you were NZ born.

How can I find amusing to watch videos that i am Scottish and still living in Scotland and grew up hearing all these especially from my gran

Oh wow, I wonder if that's where 'Reekin' comes from!? Thanks for the info!
that's true Armin (flemish here as well), my partner is scottish, will never be able to talk like him :) he cant do flemish either (after 2y of lessons still nope) he does understands us good :)

Such a good video

Really good question. I think 'how' replaces 'why' in most cases but it might be more selective. Ill need to check.

Ich kenne Dich means I know you in german. Knowledge though is Wissen in german, while Kennen is knowing as in recognizing which is er-kennen. But in the middle ages it was probably used nearly interchangable.
Usually its clatty where I'm from ( glasgow)
Oh that sounds about right when I think of how my Glaswegian pals say it.
Dearest Muzz, might thou do a video of yourself reading Robert Burns poetry? I think I would never ever need another video. 😆🏴💕
Is it just me or does he kind of sound like Richard madden?
😍😍😍😍😍
Can you do a romantic asmr. Nothing to cheesy. Just sweet and encouraging words.
Always been a bit self conscious to do that, but maybe I'm gonna have to give it a go~!!

Did you begin by saying “Kia Ora everyone”?
Aye 👍

@@1CoolKidCandid yeah not a lot of Scottish Kiwis out there, so it must seem pretty unusual!
