  • In this video, Diane reveals the top secrets to using paint to sell your home faster and for more money. You'll learn:
    -The power of paint: A fresh coat of paint can transform a space, making it look clean, updated, and ready for potential buyers.
    -Why neutral colors are best: Bold, unique colors might be beautiful to you, but they can be off-putting to buyers. Stick to neutrals to create a more universally appealing space.
    -The biggest mistakes sellers make: Choosing colors based on personal preferences, poor-quality paint jobs, and using glossy paint on walls.
    Plus, see a real-life example of a home transformation that netted the seller an extra $105,000!

    Be careful when using Revere Pewter. I know it's a very popular color, but there are some undertones you may not like. I painted my bedroom this color and absolutely hated it. It looked like a military green in certain lighting. I ended up painting it Classic Gray by Benjamin Moore and loved it.

      I knew the floors were hardwood under their because I have sold many homes in this development.. If you’re an area that homes don’t have hardwood floors then installing new carpets would’ve been a little more expensive. It depends on how bad the carpets are. Every home is different. That is why, I love what I do because I get to create a plan that’s specific for that home for example the advice will change depending upon if the home has a new or old roof, a new or old heater. new or old windows or if it’s on a busy street or on a cul-de-sac. There are so many other factors to consider. That’s why you can’t have one plan for every home. Finding out what’s important to the client is first and foremost before we give advice. And then and only then when the client knows that we have heard them, can we deliver a fantastic strategy that meets their goals..❤

    Embrace the beauty of white! Shades of white are a photographer's dream-easy to light, casting clean, airy illumination that feels fresh and open. Perfect for accent walls and interior design, white always looks stunning. If you think white walls don't photograph well, think again-they provide banger shots.

    • @DianeCardanoCasacio
      @DianeCardanoCasacio  Месяц назад +2

      @@BLAXPHOTO that may be true, but from marketing for a home it’s always best to have some contrast between the trim and the walls. It really shows the house off and that’s what we’re trying to do. We’re not selling the furnishings

    • @BLAXPHOTO
      @BLAXPHOTO Месяц назад +3

      @@DianeCardanoCasacio The idea is to get buyers through the door, so whatever makes the best photo is key-within neutral means when selling real estate. White is not your enemy; in fact, it’s a photographer’s dream. It provides a versatile, clean, and modern backdrop that complements any decor style. White reflects light, making rooms appear larger and more open. You can still create depth with shades of white, making floors and decor pop. So, I would professionally disagree with your blunt view on white. In fact, white walls are most likely the most versatile shade that everyone can appreciate. However, everyone has their own taste.

    • @DianeCardanoCasacio
      @DianeCardanoCasacio  Месяц назад +1

      @@DianeCardanoCasacio Hey you have your opinion and I certainly don't bash that, it's just that I disagree with the absolute of your statement. Monotone colors never go out of style, white never goes out of style, and if you want to break it up, through in some lights, accent walls, decor.. I'm not saying white is brilliant, but I think you saying never paint your walls black would be a far more absolute statement, than never paint them white :) Empty homes are all together annoying to market, I suggest staging or at a minimum virtually stage them. All that said, thank you for bravely sharing what's been successful for you.
