Who ever made the EA skate 1 Tracklist need to come back. I wish more song were made by this band. But honestly even if this was their only track their greatness would still be solidified. I remember searching for this song for years, they must have been a underrated band at the time. Truly appreciate the longer version
they did make a full album in 2008. it's just called Escalera and the cover art is what you're seeing in the video. It WAS available on iTunes and Spotify back then, but it was delisted a long time ago. the album itself is really hard to find. the only download i could find of it is from a russian torrent site, and it's an iTunes rip, too. it probably got a CD release, but i can't find ANY images of the CD itself. it's that obscure. i noticed no uploads of the full album are on youtube yet, so i might just go ahead and do that soon.
A friend confided in me that he would sometimes listen to this song while driving, close his eyes and drive as fast as he could because he didn’t want to live. He fell into a deep depression and severe alcohol abuse, so much so that I had to distance myself. I couldn’t bear to watch him destroy himself. We haven’t spoken in a while. Recently going through some old sketchbooks I found a drawing he made once while we were enjoying some shrooms together. All it says is HOPE in big graffiti letters. I see him on social media now, sober, and a positive role model to all around him. Even though we don’t speak I’m always rooting for him. If you are struggling, just remember there is HOPE, and someone is rooting for you even if you don’t know.
I used to only have this song activated in my playlist while playing Skate on Xbox 360. Times were simpler then.. Just free roam and just skate (in the game) and think about life.
Just found out Bob burnquist the professional skater is the drummer for this band and Danny way is in the band too. Makes sense why their music is so hard to find it's just a hobby for them I guess
This song motivated me to explore the world fiercely. As a kid that never knew how to skateboard, i knew oneday ill be cruising around Ontario in a skateboard oneday having this song on loop. 28 years old now and i can say it was an understatement
@@BajiKorvisamo Good story, man. I discovered this song in the tracklist of a videogame, about 10 years ago. I am now 27 and still transmitting something difficult to describe. It always moves me. Greetings from Spain!
I had no idea there was a longer Verison of this song but I really enjoyed listening to it.
Listening to this since 07’ it’s crazy
