Such a good record. I remember having this on cassette and listening to this when going to bed. Then seeing RIDE play some of these tracks live with LUSH was so freaking awesome. I am so fortunate to have seen some great shows.
Saw them play this on a late night TV show (Snub TV i think..) Jan 1990 & it blew me away. Had the record a few days later. Those early EPs & album formed a dreamscape of my youth, musical induced trips. Saw them live many times over, met them a few times too. I have that original EP signed ;-) The fanzine, the ULU xmas gig with the xmas version of like a snowflake they gave away to everyone who attended... I drifted away by Going Blank Again... life changes, you find new things... but Ride made an indelible impression on my life. I saw them live in Osaka Nov 2015 for the reunion - that was quite an epic experience for this 44 year old guy. Thanks RIDE!
I saw them in London in 2017 and they were total pricks to me. Andy Bell even accused me of wanting to steal their cd. And very stupidly I'm still a fan of their music.
