This, 2006, and 2007 were straight flamesssss, I remember always going into the locker room in 2007 and playing the secret challenge mode inside of there. 2007 had a banging soundtrack to and really made me a fan of rock music from those days, the new grappling system and everything was too goated.
That first "PPV" was a re-run of WM20 but without championships.
Cena/Big Show was US title.
Main event triple threat was WWE title match Benoit won.
"World Heavyweight title" for Benoit
Benoit was the GOAT!
This was my favourite game from the SVR era, it’s the last one with the fast paced gameplay. After this they slowed down the games and made them more realistic, those changes killed the fun for me….. especially the stamina mechanic ☹️
I don’t think stamina killed the gameplay but it’s the way they implemented it is what helped kill the fun. The games are just too limited now when it comes to in ring gameplay.
Brings back so many memories, my great grandma would always take us to Walmart like a week before Christmas to get me and my brother what we wanted, and every year I would already know what I was gonna get, I would always get the new Smackdown vs Raw, and it would take my brother like a hour to choose what he wanted 😂.

2010 on the 360 and ps3 was really dope to, liked the new camera system and the fact that you can train in a training facility when you first start the game.
The old wrestling games were so much better. You would think the games would get better with better technology 🤦♂️

Aye bro straight up.. I use to play this shit everyday from 05 to 2011 until we were robbed of it. But I never played this mode an I hate that looking back.. also I appreciate you giving Tajiri his flowers & picking him in the triple threat match because he was definitely one of them ones 💯
Reason why you had no time to execute the 5 Star Frog Splash, is because in the older games, you needed to land a grapple move, signature or throw them into the ropes then run towards them for the opponent to stay down long enough.
The one thing you were doing, is the ONLY thing you aren't supposed to be doing. Using regular strikes to down someone, just isn't going to cut it.

To me and probably others. OG svr n svr 2010 didn't have that garbage a$$ stamina system. That junk was so weak n made matches longer than they needed to be ESPECIALLY ladder matches (money in the bank to be specific) amongst other matches.

One problem is that they forgot to add two more sample PPVs to choose, so here are some examples: Unforgiven (Chris Jericho vs. Christian for the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match, Shawn Michaels vs. Kane, Randy Orton vs. Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship) and No Mercy (Big Show vs. Kurt Angle, John Cena vs. Booker T for the United States Championship in the Best of Five Match, JBL vs. The Undertaker for the WWE Championship in the Last Ride Match)
I remember Lesnar was supposed to be in this game but he was taking out so they just gave Batista lesnars stuff
I still think SvR 2006 is one of the best wrestling games along with SvR 2007 but HCTP holds a special place in my heart

The thing I like about these games was you had to have certain strength to pick up Big Show and Heavyweight superstars. I like how Rey couldn’t pick up no one easy. Also I love how working a body part would slow the superstar down.
