For non-Spanish speakers. Cachin tells him at the end... "you have made my dream come true (playing that match) and I don't know if it is breaking protocol but I would like to have your shirt." Nadal tells him that he does give it to him inside and they wish each other the best of luck.

Great result for Rafa. He realized he needed to stop going cross-court 100% of the time with his forehand to surprise Cachin and make him doubt. Even though his down the line was riskier than usual because his movement to his forehand is still a bit compromised, it was enough to put Cachin out of position and to stop expecting the cross-court forehand. Rafa had to use all of his experience and make the adjustments to win today. A potential QF against Medvedev seems the best he can hope for right now, though, but let's see how well he recovers!

Some of Nadal's shots are seriously impressive.... getting quite close to when he was in full form. There are obviously other aspects of his playing that haven't fully recovered (e.g. serve, movement), but even they are surprisingly good considering how long he's been plagued by injuries. Imagine if he won Roland Garros again....
