Kim Soo Hyun is a fantastic actor. He deserve every penny he makes, and more, because he can act. The other great actors is Song Kang. Lee J Suk. Lee Seung Gi. Kim Seon Ho. Why the heck are all of you so invested in the star's life. We do not care about things like this. He deserved what he deserve. Koreans need find something productive things to do and leave people and their natural talent alone.
Very soon. Disney is already under a ton of pressure from key investors. They most likely are paying a premium for Kim Soo-Hyun to piggyback off his popularity. Unless the subscriptions increase by a significant amount it will be a financial blunder.
I think another problem is Western celebrities will do what they need to keep celebrities out of shows shown in the Western countries. Look at Song Joong Ki. He went to Italy and did several auditions with nothing. Believe me Disney was in big trouble not long ago. These big salaries will not last.
Netizens in South Korea cause so many issues with Korean stars - hence why most South Korean film companies sell their films overseas. More we get the better.
i have been seeing lots of more interesting Kdramas on Disney. Kdramas on netflix are mostly garbage and made for pedestrians where as Disney ones are more artistic, well produced and well written. so if he moved to Disney, BRAVO! just look at what netflix did to squid game. they paid nothing to production company nor the talents beind it. netflix execs made all the money. they are greedy and they put out too much contents that most of them are garbage. Apple TV started to put out quality content. some Kdramas such as Dr Brain which i enjoyed. Patchinko is amazing granted that it is not considered a kdrama. i have Netflix fatigue. now that i know they can't even afford to pay his salary because they are busy taking money away from productions, bye bye netflix. blame netflix. not this actor. he deserved every penny of it.

@@jesusalejo84 What does it have to do with Western actors who star in movies? Hollywood stars have completely different fees and opportunities. You are trying to compare completely different things. All the salary amounts that the author names are just assumptions and conjectures, understand this! South Korea is not America. None of the actors in South Korea ever disclose their fees, it's the journalists who dig and write approximate figures based on the amounts of taxes that the actors pay. Kim Soo Hyun still has a lot of advertising contracts and other income from activities, not only royalties from roles. And pays taxes on all income. Didn't finish Queen of tears because it was long and wildly unrealistic. Yes, I've read the true story of the Samsung princess which was turned into some plot points in the show but the real life couple didn't look like KJW and KSH and the intellectual divide was much bigger so they fought. KSH is literally the perfect guy in the show but he is underappreciated. Gtfo reality this is a fantasy lol. Watch the ongoing netflix show "Love next door". The story is simpler and better.
Same here. As a former tv scriptwriter, I found it very unrealistic to a point of being boring. Although I'm an ardent supporter of Soo Hyun and Ji-won, QOT did not sustain my interest after watching 4 episodes. Too much to bear.😅 Enjoying Love Next Door, too.😊
Don't judge totally on what is written... samsung story is totally different from what Queen of Tears is....that lady's husband was a bad guy with no proper education or qualification, but with affairs and scandals whereas the ML of Queen of Tears is ideal type for any woman in the world to be a husband even though he wanted to divorce her at one time.... people like you only tarnish things to dark
i does had loop holes but in context of married couple miscommunication, it's actually relatable and good if you remove the villain and other side characters. I don't think it was based on Samsung princess it's just a rumour . And it wasn't a regular romo com like other k dramas . Actually for me it's the best k drama even Ji won and Soo Hyun 's chemistry was really amazing
@@kavitharagipani4798 Learn to read. Yes, the samsung story is different and believable because the guy changed after marrying into the rich family. QoT isn't because KSH is the perfect guy coming in and stayed that way but he is not loved and gets used by the family to solve their legal problems. The conflict is just the girl suddenly becoming cold and the brain tumor plot is so artificial. Don't get your panties in a bunch. I'm bashing the writers not the actors.

With this logic ji chang wook has been out been out sound of magic 2022 netflix and desiney worst of evil 2023 he has worked and many k actor working same pattern are all out by Netflix. I think Netflix vs disney many ott platform how ever pay more actor will go that side
Damned. I only pay for 1 streaming platform, Netflix; refuse to pay for more. 😢
when did this all happen!?!?! And where did the info come out of? 😭😭
If they do this need to say by to Netflix
Kim Soo Hyun is a fantastic actor. He deserve every penny he makes, and more, because he can act. The other great actors is Song Kang. Lee J Suk. Lee Seung Gi. Kim Seon Ho. Why the heck are all of you so invested in the star's life. We do not care about things like this. He deserved what he deserve. Koreans need find something productive things to do and leave people and their natural talent alone.
Why would anyone leave Netflix for Disney. ~ Disney is a sinking ship.
Lol....don’t worry u will get views 😂😂😂
NOOOO I SWEAR TO GOD THIS MAN IS NOT GETTING TSKEN AWAY
I love him but will never subscribe to Disney...
Can you make a Video about kwak Dong-yeon maybe about his childhood....
Disney's days of burning through money are gong to end, sooner or later....
🎯💯
Very soon. Disney is already under a ton of pressure from key investors. They most likely are paying a premium for Kim Soo-Hyun to piggyback off his popularity. Unless the subscriptions increase by a significant amount it will be a financial blunder.
LOVE Kim Soo Hyun! HATE Disney. So, I'll have to wait to see it from other platforms. 🤷🏾♀
Queen of tears is there going to be a season 2
No, their agency grabs a large sum of their earnings away from them. It's so unfair.
I like Knock off will be on Netflix
Sounds like Netflix started this hold crap if you ask me. But what do I know.
More we get the better.
why no script?
Ludzie zajmijcie sie swoim ogrutkiem i dajcie zyc ludziom 😡😡😡
Why is disney getting kdramas, let it show in viki instead
This is rubbish! Do not believe everything you read 😡😡😡
our watch group never got his ‚appeal‘, a mystery, looks like a 12 year old forever.
i have been seeing lots of more interesting Kdramas on Disney.
Lol who told you this?
Its baloney again! Just like Lee Jung Suk. Get your news straight ftom the horse’s mouth, snd not this vlogger
You can't compare him to Western actors the American actors make more because they bring in the money there movies bring in millions to even billions because there movies are world wide, unfortunately Korean movies are mostly only shown in Korea so they don't make that much money, if a Korean movie makes 20million dollars it's a win for them that's kinda chump change for America movies that would be the price to produce a low budget American movie and when establish american actors that have been in movies start doing TV shows they get paid very well per episode and plus this actor kinda plays the same type of dude in all his kdramas he is not a bad actor but like Netflix doesn't need him and he doesn't need Netflix he can work for a Korean company and get paid well and Netflix has no shortage of Korean actors that want to work for Netflix... American companies will pay you the big money if your a superstar and are or have been in hit movies, unfortunately for Korean actors they tend to make their American debut on a Disney show or movie that tanks and people hate so when that happens they lose value they need to stay away from woke Disney....
It's not about movies, it's about dramas. You don't need to compare him with anyone. All of Kim Soo Hyun's dramas have been held all over the world with great success and bring good profits to investors and streaming platforms. And viewers who love his acting are waiting for his work and will watch his work on any streaming platforms.
@@NikaRain-sh3do ya well looks like Netflix doesn't agree with you...and again I wasn't saying he couldn't act he just doesn't bring in the money in that western actors do...and it is about the movies that's why certain actors get paid more than some
@@jesusalejo84 What does it have to do with Western actors who star in movies? Hollywood stars have completely different fees and opportunities. You are trying to compare completely different things. All the salary amounts that the author names are just assumptions and conjectures, understand this! South Korea is not America. None of the actors in South Korea ever disclose their fees, it's the journalists who dig and write approximate figures based on the amounts of taxes that the actors pay. Kim Soo Hyun still has a lot of advertising contracts and other income from activities, not only royalties from roles. And pays taxes on all income. How can you calculate the exact amount of his salary from filming if you don't have supporting documents? And yes, Kim Soo Hyun is a very profitable actor for his niche. And he fully deserves his salary.
@@NikaRain-sh3do because there talking about western companies and they work differently than Korean companies just because he gets paid what he does in Korea doesn't mean he will get paid that in the US if he bring in the views yes he will get paid alot but his dramas don't get the views to were he will get paid what western actors do.....
Look at squid games that actor will be getting paid like 1million dollars an episode for the new season and thats because that show was one of the most viewed shows on Netflix.....and western companies tend to pay more anyways and that's why Korean actors want to work with them and then you bringing up documents and whatever other bull your saying...do you have any proof to what your saying?
Funny thing saying ksh characters are same really? He did like 7 dramas as lead each is different this man is 5 times baeksang winner he was just 24 when he beat seniors in the industry to win best actor so no my man doesn't play same guy in everyday but he does good acting in every drama
Sorry sh your new drama not my genre type
i
Didn't finish Queen of tears because it was long and wildly unrealistic.
Too much to bear.😅
Enjoying Love Next Door, too.😊
Nah
Do not understand why Queen of Tears is such a big hit
Bcs it is not like other cheesy kdramas, they are producing in sk right now.. and also bcs ksh stars in it
@@desireejacobsen2443 because it shows the reality of daily life married couple not those typical fantasy love stories with baseless, meaningless romance and fairy-tale happy endings just to temporarily distract our mind from reality.
@@suparnahomchoudhary2730hahahahahahahahaha
Queen of tears is boring tbh
True
They targeted the older audiences as well as younger ones , with out older audiences any show wouldn't reach 15 % ratings
🤣🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄🙄
Well, he is overhyped in SK but many westerners find him overrated, so for a worldwide audience it may not be worth the money. I do think many actors who are less paid play much better
So why these good actor not popular international
