Once actors become established, they turn down roles they know are not suitable for their style. This is why we see better film that have experienced people working in them than the cheaper budget films with start out actors who must take what they can to get into work.
KMHM is the reason why I started to believe Jisung is top 3 best actors in SKorea WonBin would have been great for DOTS Suzy would have ruined CITT, I can’t get into her acting for some reason. I did like While You Were Sleeping I’m glad IU did not take the role for The 8
I think IU rejecting was a win on both because her tour and also gave Jiwon a chance for more recognition while she wouldn’t done amazing giving it to Jiwon was better and not a regret
Queen of Tears: it should have been Yeji. She is probably the only kdrama actor who can be out on the edge for a full series and not look “done” by episode 10.
@@jessicagomez1586 She deserves grace at some point. Toyota used forced Korean labor in WW2. Toyota sells in Korea post war. But Yeji? She is done? Forever? Legal can draft a contract that is backloaded and incentivized for behavior. Yeji deserves to work.

For IU, Kim ji won was perfect for queen of tears, i can see why they wanted IU too but IU won't fit the rôle of the 8 show at all
I think it would be biased to say that it would be better if IU played the roles, but no one can argue that IU can pull off anything.
