  • Here's a tutorial video about ways to make a cartoon of yourself in PowerPoint, including using CrazyTalk Animator, which is a separate software you can get for advanced animation. I also show you some very cool techniques that only require only PowerPoint. Play around to find your favorite method!
By the way, my favorite website for free vector images is Freepik.com - you can get all the parts you need for your cartoon - it's amazing!

I finally found you. Been trying to find something like this for ages. I forgot you can make animations in Powerpoint. I remember I made a whole animation in school but then over 10 years later forget how I did any of it lol. Thanks.

+NinjaMarketing Great, the quest is over! :) You've come to the right place to learn (and relearn!) animations. That's impressive that you were making an animation school over 10 years ago - you are very progressive! I'm sure you'll remember very quickly.

Wow, I knew you could do stop motion with a Nintendo DSi and Windows Movie Maker, or even a regular camera and Windows 10 Photos (or Video Editor, or Story Remix, or whatever it is), but the fact that you can animate in Powerpoint is pretty interesting! The only problem is that if you have enough syllables or individual phonemes in a single line, PowerPoint begins to slow down when loading that slide, resulting in some of the starting animations getting cut off. This also causes any audio that you try to sync with the photos to be out of alignment with the visuals of the animation.

Can a caricature's head be added to CrazyTalk's existing bodies? Will CrazyTalk work with the current version of PowerPoint?

Hi I love the video, I just wanted to ask did u have to pay for it or was it a free download ?

Crazytalk is a program you have to pay extra for - they have a free trial with very limited features. If you are serious about doing a lot of such animations, I would seriously consider getting it - it's an investment, but it will be much easier (and cooler looking) in the long run than trying to do it in PowerPoint. If you're doing it only occasionally, then PowerPOint might be sufficient. Thanks for the comment, Minidream!
