Mgb core plug failure

Freshly rebuilt engine with core plug improperly installed by machine shop which resulted in the engine overheating. Engine block off to the machine shop to have it checked out and don’t worry it’s not going back to the same machine shop that previously did the work

epoxy is the way to go, welsh plugs are a bugger, not enough or too much compression is a make or break. Just try to flatten them is the key.

Is there any warranty to cover damage, if found??

No warranty but we are still in negotiation with the original machine shop that did the work
