I had the slotless set back in the late 70's it was AFX answer to the TCR slotless set that came with a third annoying pace car that alwas got in the way I had the Afx set there's Chevy & ford guys I've always been a AFX dude !LoL
This is the first I've heard of this technology. Looks like a bust, actually, being way too easy to break loose in the turns. Presumably that's what torpedoed the product line.
