La Isla Bonita was her fifth single and video from the album True Blue, and wasn't performed live untill a year later, yet it infiltrated into the fan's souls and later into the radio playlists and the charts. So, her voice was her greatest asset to begin with. Her attitude and performance abilities and her gorgeous communicative eyes were the ornamentation to her already great voice. In fact before she became famous, people around her noticed her voice too. They were the ones who pointed that out to her. She trained to be a dancer, but it was her voice that kept coming to the forefront. In the show business aka Hollywood aka Ziowood, as it is the case in all other type of businesses, when someone is perceived as a threat to the establishment, the established artists or businesses, try to blackbal the new ones by saying oh "she is good in that but not in this or she doesn't belong here, she belongs over there".
