ABOUT SUPERSTORE
America Ferrera and Ben Feldman star in the hilarious workplace comedy "Superstore," about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore. "Superstore" centers around Amy (Ferrera), who recently was promoted to be the store manager and is the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn't have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett (Colton Dunn), the sweet and clueless Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom), and the perpetually dismissed Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi). Also on the team are Glenn (Mark McKinney), who stepped down as manager in an attempt to have more family time, and Dina (Lauren Ash), the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist. Mateo (Nico Santos) was also part of the team, most recently as the self-promoted floor supervisor, until being detained due to his undocumented status.

@@kds02 To be fair Glenn isn't the sharpest and he's a bit of a pushover so he's probably extremely underpaid as well. He doesn't do it for the money he just genuinely loves retail lol

He lets his religious beliefs get in the way many times... the episode where he stops customers from buying plan B by buying all of em and then tries to sell them to customers because it was too expensive
nobody in retail should "genuinely care for their customers"
I would watch a series with that toothbrush guy idk he’s just legitimately super interesting!
it's wild how much time they gave him as one off customer compared to all the others throughout the rest of the show.
edit - looking him up on the wiki i completely forgot he came back as glenns lawyer. he's played by matt oberg who most recently had a run as voicing kite man on the harley quinn cartoon
Please bring it back, there's no reason it couldnt have kept going with a rotating cast. Anyone that has worked in retail knows that people come and go, but it brings new stories and weird moments.
Yea... no, the office tried that and it immediately went on slow downhill to flop swamp. If it were like this then we'd see Marcus only as an obnoxious himbo with personality only revolving around being the equivalent of typical "jock" but make it gross, because we'd never get to see his character arc. Besides at the timeline the store would inevitably be shutdowned because if so many factors especially digital disruption

I think that given everything, they did provide quite a good level of customer service. I mean, I've seen worse. And the guy did find the right toothbrush!
