How much leak is normal? I see leak value around 60-70. Is this normal? I am getting mixed opinions from technicians. Can you please advise?

For invasive ventilation and Philips Respironics machines, a leak between 20-35 is normal and 25-30 is ideal.

Dear Aditya, very sad to know that your patient could not survive. I am a caregiver of my father who has been on invasive ventilation for the last 3+ years due to Motor Neuron Disease. I am sure this device is fine as he never faced any problem with it and is still doing pretty well.
If you don't configure the BiPAP settings and the breathing circuit in the right manner using the right whisper swivel exhalation valve, the patient will never be comfortable and if the patient is critical he/she may not survive. Unfortunately our doctors are neither well trained nor knowledgeable to tackle it at a home setup.

My daughter has the same one for sleep apnea. what I don’t like is the water tray only last 6 hours max amd then it’s empty in the middle of the night and needs to be filled. Hate that! Anyone else has the same 6 hour window?
