I agreed but once you learn it you feel like a dam god 😭😭
the tip I learned 10 years ago that helped me is still in effect. Switch out your jump/gas button from shift to space. Makes gassing easier and you'll learn from there.
It becomes muscle memory after a bit of practice and then it feels amazing
you could also change the jump/gas button to mouse right click
