Your encapsulation of all that is Doc Savage, his beliefs and morality and of course his associates are portrayed so very well here. Every time I watch the 1975 film I see the deeper meaning of Doc portrayed within its exterior of flippancy. You have taken those scenes and sanctioned their key elements so well as the underpinning of your classical era suited commentary. I applaud and thank you sir. And may I strive every moment of my life.....
Love it great and respectful homage. When I was growing up it was not completely Doc that inspired me but Johnny to a point were after my military service I obtained my Ba and my pending M A in ancient cultures ,civilizations and historical archaeology, and have become rather erudite in both disciplines.
You know what must be done next, then. You must search out those in need. You must travel here and there, from one corner of the world to another helping those who need it and punishing those who deserve it.
This was a wonderful little video, great work. I've been a fan of Doc for some time, but after finally getting a Kindle I can read the books at my leisure instead of trawling book stores and flea markets looking for copies!
Nice job. Wish you could've found someone to imitate Westbrook Van Voorhis to do the voice over though. It was kind of like going from Percy Rodriguez to Percy Helton.
Which "Superman"? Many of the Superman films have already been well-fanedited by others - times over. There was even a pretty good one that combined Superman III and Superman IV into one halfway-decent film! Check Fanedit.org for more info!
"Mid-Atlantic English" is indeed an affectation, and sounds unnatural for that reason. If you read - in the Wikipedia article on this peculiar "accent" - the list of personalities known for this "cultivated or acquired version of the English language", they are celebrities that many people found annoying to listen to!
Very clever merger of footage from ill-starred 1975 Doc Savage film with archival footage. Nicely capture 1930s newsreek with spot-on narrator.

Just to add. At around at 3'35'' check the odd lenses in Johnny's glasses.
Wonderful and masterfully done. That is how the opening of the film should have been done.

That was a truly beautiful tribute. Well done.
Thank you!
Thanks, Marc! When the full fan-edit is completed (soon!), it will be announced on fanedit.org.
Thank you Doc Savage was one of the first if not the first super hero that was super but a super good human.
maybe this guy should have directed the movie.John Andersen says in Film Fax he was a bad director for job.

#DokSauvageManOfCopper APPROVES.
To bad they made this into a joke with boings and clanks in the fight scenes

Wouldn't Doc also need a good hedge fund manager?
Nah, why would he? I don't have one.
But if my Pool of Gold ever runs dry, I'm screwed.
FEslark can you do one of these for superman?

A freind of mine has asked for this movie for christmas so how do I obtain it?
I downloaded it from Primewire.org for free. Foxfire works best for the download process.
Can you put the movie on here???
How much for the Buick?

I think at cgi movie would better to show all of Doc,s talents.
Cuantas señoras en el equipo. Esto me huele bastante a armario.
