Easily the story for Man-Thing that has stuck in my brain. The perfect mix of horror and drama in this story.

So much of man-thing baffles me as to how this was allowed to be published at newstands at the time. I don't say that as someone who hates the book, (in fact I love it) it's just so out there and totally chilling at times. I can't imagine a kid at the time reading this

They tended to give writers more creative freedom with third-string titles back in the day. It was easier to slip things past the censors (Because less people were paying attention), and the publishers were more OK with writers trying to figure out what would connect with readers.

I remember listening to it in my basement putting on the record player ,scared the hell out of me, even though I didn’t quite fully understand what was going on, I was four years old that was 1974, I would say it scarred me for life!😂😢

The cover scared the ever poop out of me in 1974. Scary back then but grew to love Manny and soon had every issue of his.

Hopefully. Always my favorite Marvel monster character. Had this record when I was about 6 years old.

I have always liked Man-Thing over the other, being more of an emotional conduit than others.)

Man Thing's is similar to Swamp Thing because they both have the same origin story although they are both from separate universes!

There is the 2005 or 2006 Man-Thing movie that went directly to the SCI-FI channel. You can find it on DVD. It is an okay movie, but don't expect a lot of Man-Thing or his origin story.
