Thanks for the tutorial Sascha! I just spent hours trying to get Logic X routed to OBS. Before, I had my DAW and Blackhole set up as an aggregate device after working with an outdated video tutorial using Sunflower. It used a more complex procedure of hardwired patches at the back of my Focusrite. So, I installed the latest Blackhole version, and following you, I created a new multi-output device in Audio Midi Setup for Logic's output. I then selected Blackhole as the input device in OBS. That finally got it working! Thanks so much. Your studio looks amazing too.
Sean Hully Sean Hully hey Sean, ah Awesome that it helped you. Yeah really difficult to find any information about it. Thanks for the message and take good care! I don’t know if you use Screenflow which is unusable because of its latency. But even there the blackhole works awesome. Cheers

I had installed Blackhole on my new M1 in Dec 2021, and my goal was to route audio out of Ableton Live into Logic...BUT it had REALLY slowed don the performance...do you happen to have any wisdom on that aspect? did it affect the delay on your microphone takes etc? Looking forward to your thoughts if you get this message :)
Hey Mark, I am using nowadays a app called Loopback which makes routing much easier and doesn't have any bad side affects such as CPU overloads etc. But regarding your question I had no issues with latency. I did not even know that Blackhole would still work on M1 Macs. If you want a stable solution get Loopback and you can route whatever to wherever you want and perform normally. Cheers
