Another great video Conley. Really interesting that it only does one crop but it is a pretty specialized crop. You are nearly at 5K subscribers! Keep going. Great content
Awesome video. Guys here in nc are mostly using pull type combines. Hopefully amadas designs a rotor style combine like the new pull types but self propelled. Probably could combine 4mph then lol!! Happy harvest!!
What will y’all plant behind the peanuts? How many more acres of peanuts before you are done with harvest? Some farmers here are done with peanut harvest and others have finished and moving on to cotton harvest. Do y’all grow any produce in your area?
Good video, I have some questions. How old are you, what town / city are you close to, due you have a girlfriend or wife, how many family members work the farm. I enjoy your channel a lot. Keep it up.
Yes we’ll plant wheat now after harvest and we’ll swath and bale it at the beginning of next year and then plant our cotton, peanuts, or corn right after
My favorite farm videos. Excellent explanations, no bs and no drama. Keep up the good work bud!
Thanks
"peanut combine in a nutshell" Good one. This was also very interesting Conley. I really enjoy your channel.
😂😂 riiight I totally meant to do that
Nice presentation, CB! Thanks for the close-up shots, namely of the finger rolls behind the cab.
Thanks I hope it wasn’t too boring

Thanks I’m super excited for 5k

That would be cool except around here it probably wouldn’t work
Thank you. I have seen peanut combines in the area but never knew how they worked or built.
"Combine in nutshell" that was nutty. 🤣🥜
Haha your welcome 😅
You have great videos! As far as the green, that's called Amadas using a John Deere chassis.
Glad to see how this works thanks❤️👍🐝
Great presentation!
Hello! Agricultural machines are very smart. I wish in Vietnam to have such a machine. Thank you for the helpful video.
What will y’all plant behind the peanuts? How many more acres of peanuts before you are done with harvest? Some farmers here are done with peanut harvest and others have finished and moving on to cotton harvest. Do y’all grow any produce in your area?
We will plant wheat to keep the fields from blowing and then swath and bale the hay next year and then probably plant cotton
First time I got to see the workings of a peanut combine
So when you make adjustments aggressivity on the combine what are you exactly adjusting?
There’s extra sets of fingers that help it thrash harder
Seems like you have a lot of fans from india! Very nice
It’s becoming a very diverse audience
Any reason why they don't use augers to fill the basket and off load it? thanks for the video
You can unload way faster with a conveyor than with an auger
Also your LSKs or loose shelled kernels would go up reducing grades.
That’s also true
Is there a wind system for separating the peanuts from the straw or just them rollers n gravity
Yes I did forget to mention that there is a fan underneath that blows air up through the disc separators to help clean it better
Could you harvest Peanuts with a Bean Harvester Thanks
Nope a bean harvester would be too rough and break the peanuts
@@conleybanman in your area what machines do they use to harvest beans and what varieties of beans do you grow? Thank you.
No beans are grown here in west Texas.
@@conleybanman Thanks Patrick
Good work, I like peanuts.
Great vid!
Will golf balls tear up the machine if someone hit balls into the field?
Nope not these combines even rocks can go through em
I am having trouble with straw getting into the basket
Any suggestions
We've fiddled around with the air blower but the issue sticks
Have you tried driving slower. Sometimes it helps if there’s less hay going through the combine
what is the price of a peanut harvester?
New 2020 is around $450,000
G'day great video
Why dont they have a harvester that holds 10 times the holding bin . Then you could harvest way longer?
That’s what I say I’d love that
hello Conley!, how many hectares do you do with each conbine? here in Argentina one like that does at least 800 ha...
This year we had 1,300 acres of peanuts (3,211 hectares) but that’s a lot per combine
@@conleybanman ok, thank you for the answer, i think is 526 ha. is all irrigated?
Oh🤦🏼♂️ 😂 yes I clearly did my math wrong yes it’s all irrigated

You must be replacing fungers constantly!
Every morning we try and replace a few
How much price this machine?

@@conleybanman how can ı take this machine? Im from turkey
You’d have to contact your local dealer
@@conleybanman can you send me dealer link please?
I wouldn’t know what your local dealer link is
What you do with wastage of peanuts
There’s usually not much wasted
I want to say what you do with straw of peanuts
@@desiindianfarming we bale the straw here in South GA and feed it to cows or other livestock.
Same here except to the neighbors cows
@@conleybanman also same but we don't make bales
Hello. I am producer of peanuts in Turkey. I want to meet you and get information about your machines.
Adanada görsek bu makineleri güzel olur 🙂
Hay price wov
Right now I believe it’s $120 a ton but we sell to local dairy’s so every place could be different
Can you get more than 1 harvest a year
Yes we’ll plant wheat now after harvest and we’ll swath and bale it at the beginning of next year and then plant our cotton, peanuts, or corn right after
@@conleybanman thanks
Hi i need peanut seeds
Love the flags.
👍
"Thresh". "Thrash" is whuppin' somebody's ass.
Overly simple explanation to a very complicated machine.
Yea it feels that way
Why amadas vs say the colombo ones? Around here the later is more popular but you get both
Amadas is more common they work great and parts are easy to get
I love y'alls trump flag
Thanks 😁
