Hey thats really cool! actually your vid inspired me too. arround 3 years ago, when I first heard this melody (I heard it in a pokemon story), I set myself the goal to write my own story. It was the time when my "artistic eye" opened. the book-series is still not done but i wanna say thank you to you and the others who inspired me to start make my own music, drawings and book so I can one day make a movie ^^ if you're interested... The book is about a little puppy. He was found, on the verge of dying, by a traveling alchemist called Nano. The little pup lost all his past memorie andbecause its fur was pitch black with some weird red glowing markings, Nano called him "Shadow". They both set the goal to figure out what Shadow is, where he's from and how to bring him back. but as time progressed, Shadow learned that he is meant for something bigger. Through old tales and flashbacks to his old self (he doesnt know that its his past life tho), he learns that something (him) released a big curse on accident once and was banned from his place. He was only allowed to come back when he made up for his sin. Wich he does by sacrificing himmself in a big war (but at that point he's already a bit older).
@@avaarrow7478 it's going. I more and more realize how little people are interested in the book. Most are interested in the plot but don't want to read an entire book to know it. I'm thinking of turning it into a graphical novel. It has the benefit of not having to explain scenes (which I'm really bad at) and it's way more expressive but I can't draw that well yet so if I go that route, I'll probably use blender to model everything and render it into 2d-styled pictures. May I ask why you asked? Just out of curiosity ☺️

As a fandom we have quite often wondered: Why do Celestia and Luna call themselves princess’s instead of queens. I think if a story like this was canon. Then the reason the two princess’s don't call themselves queens, is to honour their parents; as if to say: “you will always be king and queen to us.”
Wow! I love this headcanon, and I'm will throw away all the canon stuff about that "queen Celestia" or "queen Luna" sounds cruel, this must be the official because it is much better :D Thank you for the feels :D
Actually they don't say king and queen because they were following Disney tropes, and the kings and queens tend to be evil in Disney, hence King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis

Celestia was "Empress Celestia" or "Queen Celestia" (I don't remember) but they changed for "Princess" because they thought little girls would like it more
I would love a My Little Pony spin-off that stars Celestia as a filly and we get to watch her grow up and learn friendship and life lessons just like Twilight. The series could end when Celestia learns the harshest lesson of all and has to banish her sister, or better yet, it could end when Celestia disowns Sunset then takes Twilight as her new student/successor. That would tie everything together beautifully.
I remember, back when I was about 7 or 8, my mum and dad were going to war. On my last night with her, after she said goodnight to my sister, she just sang this old lullaby to me, like back when I was a baby. It was very similar to this. Fast forward several months, we get the news that they perished. After that, we had to go live with our uncle, who was cruel to us. Every night, my sister, Lucy, used to beg me to sing the lullaby. Now, I have my own daughters, and I sing this to them in their cot at night. When they are older, I'll tell them about their grandparents, but for now, I just want to watch my sunshine and moonbeam grow.

This may sound stupid. I see all these comments about people who were important but for me it's my precious girl Serena. She's a 15 year old cat I have now. We're going to put her down Monday if she doesn't die naturally on Sunday. Every day since I've had her I've always been able to come home and say "where's mama's girl?" She's helped me through so much stuff in my life especially because my teenage years involved being bullied severely and forced to move to a new school. She was there in high school too when things got tough with an especially toxic relationship. Now she's on the verge of dying. I've lost other pets, even a dog I had for 14 years that I grew up with and even his death does not affect me as much as hers. My heart feels as if's it being broken into two. I'm sobbing while I play this for her, because she is my little sunshine and I don't know how I'm going to manage without her. I won't be able to come home and say "where's my baby girl?" and have her walk up to me. I also won't be able to say "good night baby girl, mama loves you." At the moment I don't even want to sleep because I'm afraid I won't get to say goodbye to her. Even after losing my grandfather earlier this month, it was nowhere near as bad because I had time to come to terms with it. I'm sorry for pouring all this out on RUclips but this song is giving me the emotional let out I need.
It's alright. I was able to hold her as she passed away naturally by our Christmas tree today. This song was one of the last things she heard me sing to her.
Shannon Cropper I once had this adorable little rottie mutt my mom and sister found abandoned on the road when I was in the 7th grade. She was only 5 or 6 weeks old. immediately, she became my little puppy. we called her "Shadow" because she followed our other dogs like a shadow. she'd listen to only me. we'd play everyday, she'd pose when I said, "picture". after our other 2 dogs died, Nicky of old age and Oddesy from cancer in her nose, she was the only dog and enjoyed the extra attention. 9 years later, she developed cancer. we knew she would suffer if we let her life out her life. so, we gave her her fav treat, a bit of sliced cheese and took her to the car. the next day, she was put down and we cried, but not even a month after we lost her, my step-dad went out and got a new dog. he didn't care that we JUST lost a dog. he actually said, "I'm glad she's got. that mutt was too dangerous." aside from biting his hand when she was teething, Shadow never bit anyone and if anything, the new dog bites EVERY ONE who touches it's paws and it knocked my niece onto the concrete and nearly sent her to the hospital. to this day, I miss Shadow.
It is little things like this is the reason why I joined this fandom. As much as I like the show, the amazing creativity through art, animation, and music is why I became a Brony in the first place. Thank you ink Rose. Sometimes, I do need a reminder every once in a while.
this made me cry because my dad use to call me sunshine and he sadly passed away when I was 8 then my mom got a boyfriend and I became distant and cold towards her... now both my mom and dad are gone and I live with my brother... he calls me moonlight because I always look at the moon and say "I love you mom, I love you dad..." it's stupid I know but this song hits really close to home..

I saw this this video two months ago it made me cry like a baby, a month later I sung this song to my little cousin when she was in hospital the funny part is that her name is sunshine so the it was perfect. everyone in room stared to crying and clapping even the doctor and nurse. they ask me where did I hear this song and told to look you up. now every time I babysit her, she wants me to sing this song to her before bad time. thing you so much for making this, because of this song my little sunshine got better. : )

It's stuff like this that makes me miss singing. I did, a long time ago...but my music teacher, who was practically my mother in many ways, and the only person who ever showed support for something I enjoyed doing (I have no family and was never adopted - kids with health issues seldom are) was killed in a plane crash, and after she died I just...didn't want to sing anymore. Sometimes I still want to sing again, especially listening to stuff like this, but my voice has changed a lot and I haven't sung in so long that my voice is just...terrible now. I can't remember how to sing anymore.

I love it... tear jerker for sure, but inspiring too. I saw in my minds eye, just before Celestia sang to Luna, the Empress instructing a trusted guard to protect them at all costs as she was leaving. At the end of the video, when little Tia is singing it to Luna, the image that popped into my head was the two sisters cuddled together under the light of the sun/moon, depending on which was awake to raise their celestial body, and their mother and father were there in spirit watching over them with proud smiles on their faces.
I love this song so much that I sang this to my dog, my dog has cancer and I felt like it was her last night with me. I know I will sing this to my children, when I have some. I wish there was more music videos with Celestia's parents. I hope they make another mlp series just about Luna and Celestia and how their childhood was. It gonna may sound stupid but after all that happend, I feel more bad for Celestia than for Luna. Sure Lune may felt really misunderstood and that all, but on the other Side is Celestia who gaved her best to keep the Harmony together, to protect her People, try to her people smile, being a good Sister. But then Luna turned her Back to her and broke the Harmony, so letting Celestia no other Choice and after she unwilling banished Luna as Nightmare Moon into the Moon, Celestia was 1000 alone with the regret for wasn't a protectiv Ruler and even worse Sister[what Celestia really not is], but most she had the Regret to not being able to keep the Harmony heal. I hope nobody call me Stupid because I write my Opinion and Thoughts down, because I'm tired to read always Celestia is the Guilty for all. Not only because Celestia is my favorite Princess but I find this pretty unjust to only punish Celestia. Why is comment this under this Song because the Song reinforced my Opinion about Celestia even more.
To me, they were both the victims. As you said, Celestia tried her best to succeed and excel at everything especially being a good sister. On the other hand, or in this case hoof, Luna always felt abandoned and unloved, and shunned by her sister since she was always so busy. That's just how I see it. Like you, I'm just stating my opinion.
Celestia was the victim, she had the weight of a world on her shoulders, literally, no one can be perfect, sometimes you have to sacrifice something for the greater good.
Cause of Celestia putting her people first. Like keeping a promise to her parents, She didn't spend a lot of time with Luna. Making Luna feel abandoned, and misunderstood.
I haven’t listened to this song in years and I’m bawling rn. I used to listen to this anytime that I was sad or felt alone, it would even help me fall asleep. This brings back memories, some really good memories. About the times my own mom would sing me songs and tell me it would be fine whenever I am troubled with something. It was an incredible time, when the world was a joyful place with the largest sorrow being our cat hiding from me under the couch. So many people I've met back then, all were friends. We would play together all day and nobody would treat somebody as inferior or different. Only now I see how beautiful those times were, before they were taken away from me by mere people I loved the most and replaced with a life of endless pain, sorrow and loneliness. I can barely even feel anything towards other people now. How broken have I become...

It's been too long since I last heard of this song. It brought tears to my eyes the day that I heard it. I never knew how much I relate to the story, losing loved ones throughout my childhood. Sometimes I would use the song as a comfort music for my low moments. Now I'm older and have little nephews that I love to bits. I hope that they will never experience the heartache I did growing up. But I let them know that they are loved unconditionally. It's kind of cheesy but I appreciate this song for helping me out in dark times. ❤

I remember when I was younger I first listened to this song. I was like 9 at that time so I didn't understand anything. Coming back to this song, now understanding it, makes me cry a lot. I myself don't have a very tragic story but I can share one! My mother has had a very hard time and fell into a big depression. She would also care for my brother and I but not herself. When we were still hungry, she would give us her food, when we needed help, she would try her best to help. She is Japanese so she doesn't understand English culture much. She still spoke English for us. It came to the point where my mother was almost the same weight as my brother, and we became worried for her. She insisted and the thought of my mother giving everything up just for her kids, makes me sad. She would've had two other grown children, but they died when they born due to complications. My brother almost died but I was the only one that was quote on quote "perfect". She didn't want the same thing happening so she spoiled us. We aren't spoiled now, but I miss the times when she spoiled us XD. But my father and mother had a divorce, and she moved back to Japan. I was devastated and I miss my mother a lot. Having really nothing tragic happening to me, this was something hard to overcome. My father got a girlfriend and started to neglect us.. But my mother would always care for us and would take care of us even with the distance. She still spoils us but we insist. I will get to see my mom soon, but due to her health and age, I'm afraid it won't last too long. But this song reminds me of my mother. I really love this and despite it being MLP, I'm listening to it everywhere no matter what.
Nearly ten years ago, I lost the most closest member of my family. My grandmother. She was the only person in my family that actually got me. Listening to this song got me thinking of her. I love this song and I love her. Though she died when I was young, she is always be remembered.

Even after losing my grandfather earlier this month, it was nowhere near as bad because I had time to come to terms with it. I'm sorry for pouring all this out on RUclips but this song is giving me the emotional let out I need.
It's alright. I was able to hold her as she passed away naturally by our Christmas tree today. This song was one of the last things she heard me sing to her.

Shannon Cropper I once had this adorable little rottie mutt my mom and sister found abandoned on the road when I was in the 7th grade. She was only 5 or 6 weeks old. immediately, she became my little puppy. we called her "Shadow" because she followed our other dogs like a shadow. she'd listen to only me. we'd play everyday, she'd pose when I said, "picture". after our other 2 dogs died, Nicky of old age and Oddesy from cancer in her nose, she was the only dog and enjoyed the extra attention. 9 years later, she developed cancer. we knew she would suffer if we let her life out her life. so, we gave her her fav treat, a bit of sliced cheese and took her to the car. the next day, she was put down and we cried, but not even a month after we lost her, my step-dad went out and got a new dog. he didn't care that we JUST lost a dog. he actually said, "I'm glad she's got. that mutt was too dangerous." aside from biting his hand when she was teething, Shadow never bit anyone and if anything, the new dog bites EVERY ONE who touches it's paws and it knocked my niece onto the concrete and nearly sent her to the hospital. to this day, I miss Shadow.
It is little things like this is the reason why I joined this fandom. As much as I like the show, the amazing creativity through art, animation, and music is why I became a Brony in the first place. Thank you ink Rose. Sometimes, I do need a reminder every once in a while.
this made me cry because my dad use to call me sunshine and he sadly passed away when I was 8 then my mom got a boyfriend and I became distant and cold towards her... now both my mom and dad are gone and I live with my brother... he calls me moonlight because I always look at the moon and say "I love you mom, I love you dad..." it's stupid I know but this song hits really close to home..

I saw this this video two months ago it made me cry like a baby, a month later I sung this song to my little cousin when she was in hospital the funny part is that her name is sunshine so the it was perfect. everyone in room stared to crying and clapping even the doctor and nurse. they ask me where did I hear this song and told to look you up. now every time I babysit her, she wants me to sing this song to her before bad time. thing you so much for making this, because of this song my little sunshine got better. : )

It's stuff like this that makes me miss singing. I did, a long time ago...but my music teacher, who was practically my mother in many ways, and the only person who ever showed support for something I enjoyed doing (I have no family and was never adopted - kids with health issues seldom are) was killed in a plane crash, and after she died I just...didn't want to sing anymore. Sometimes I still want to sing again, especially listening to stuff like this, but my voice has changed a lot and I haven't sung in so long that my voice is just...terrible now. I can't remember how to sing anymore.

I love it... tear jerker for sure, but inspiring too. I saw in my minds eye, just before Celestia sang to Luna, the Empress instructing a trusted guard to protect them at all costs as she was leaving. At the end of the video, when little Tia is singing it to Luna, the image that popped into my head was the two sisters cuddled together under the light of the sun/moon, depending on which was awake to raise their celestial body, and their mother and father were there in spirit watching over them with proud smiles on their faces.
I love this song so much that I sang this to my dog, my dog has cancer and I felt like it was her last night with me. I know I will sing this to my children, when I have some. I wish there was more music videos with Celestia's parents. I hope they make another mlp series just about Luna and Celestia and how their childhood was. But over all thank you for this beautiful song.

It gonna may sound stupid but after all that happend, I feel more bad for Celestia than for Luna. Sure Lune may felt really misunderstood and that all, but on the other Side is Celestia who gaved her best to keep the Harmony together, to protect her People, try to her people smile, being a good Sister. But then Luna turned her Back to her and broke the Harmony, so letting Celestia no other Choice and after she unwilling banished Luna as Nightmare Moon into the Moon, Celestia was 1000 alone with the regret for wasn't a protectiv Ruler and even worse Sister[what Celestia really not is], but most she had the Regret to not being able to keep the Harmony heal.
I hope nobody call me Stupid because I write my Opinion and Thoughts down, because I'm tired to read always Celestia is the Guilty for all. Not only because Celestia is my favorite Princess but I find this pretty unjust to only punish Celestia.
Why is comment this under this Song because the Song reinforced my Opinion about Celestia even more.
To me, they were both the victims. As you said, Celestia tried her best to succeed and excel at everything especially being a good sister. On the other hand, or in this case hoof, Luna always felt abandoned and unloved, and shunned by her sister since she was always so busy. That's just how I see it. This brings back memories, some really good memories. About the times my own mom would sing me songs and tell me it would be fine whenever I am troubled with something. It was an incredible time, when the world was a joyful place with the largest sorrow being our cat hiding from me under the couch. So many people I've met back then, all were friends. We would play together all day and nobody would treat somebody as inferior or different. Only now I see how beautiful those times were, before they were taken away from me by mere people I loved the most and replaced with a life of endless pain, sorrow and loneliness. I can barely even feel anything towards other people now. How broken have I become...

It's been too long since I last heard of this song. It brought tears to my eyes the day that I heard it. I never knew how much I relate to the story, losing loved ones throughout my childhood. Sometimes I would use the song as a comfort music for my low moments. Now I'm older and have little nephews that I love to bits. I hope that they will never experience the heartache I did growing up. I remember when I was younger I first listened to this song. I was like 9 at that time so I didn't understand anything. Coming back to this song, now understanding it, makes me cry a lot. I myself don't have a very tragic story but I can share one! My mother has had a very hard time and fell into a big depression. She would also care for my brother and I but not herself. When we were still hungry, she would give us her food, when we needed help, she would try her best to help. She is Japanese so she doesn't understand English culture much. She still spoke English for us. It came to the point where my mother was almost the same weight as my brother, and we became worried for her. She insisted and the thought of my mother giving everything up just for her kids, makes me sad. She would've had two other grown children, but they died when they born due to complications. My brother almost died but I was the only one that was quote on quote "perfect". She didn't want the same thing happening so she spoiled us. We aren't spoiled now, but I miss the times when she spoiled us XD. But my father and mother had a divorce, and she moved back to Japan. I was devastated and I miss my mother a lot. Having really nothing tragic happening to me, this was something hard to overcome. My father got a girlfriend and started to neglect us.. But my mother would always care for us and would take care of us even with the distance. She still spoils us but we insist. I will get to see my mom soon, but due to her health and age, I'm afraid it won't last too long. But this song reminds me of my mother. I really love this and despite it being MLP, I'm listening to it everywhere no matter what.
