Been on the market for a small projector that we could use outside at our pool for movie nights! This one looks like it is the one to get! Thank you!
I have a 1080p Vankyo from 2021 and found it was blurry on the edge of the picture … glad to see they seemed to fix the issues.
If you do another projector review I’d love to see how small and large the picture can get. Other than that I’m loving the tech reviews
If you have a manual Key stone. Its best to try not to use it. A manual key stone can make parts on the image very blurry. Its best to make the projector level with the center of the screen in both the horizontal and vertical axis. so you are doing micro adjustments with the keystone.
Mario Cart on the side of the garage sounds like a blast! LOL Seems like a pretty good deal for that price.
Nice fun projector. Good for kids.
Thanks for the video...next time try out one of the battery powered ones ;-)
How do you power this while camping? Does it take batteries?
Looks good
is there much difference between this and the non-pro? Just the 470.
Thought about getting one recently here in Australia
Thanks for the review, been looking for something like this for a while to have in our recently redone basement. This looks to be a winner in my book 👍🏼
Can you show it in day inside a building? Like for a birthday?
Can you use for art?
Thinking about getting this to connect it to my ps5
How good is this for a powerpoint presentation? I need to show certain pics in my powerpoint presentation
Does it have Bluetooth
For the price, it is a middle of the road option. There are other 1080P projectors in the same price range that may not be as small, but they have built in batteries and pretty decent interfaces. The other issue with these is most of them are basically 150-200 lumens. Occasionally you see one that advertises 400 lumens. But I would even question that. Which is still extremely low anyway. As said, these are a fun option for the back yard, camping. Or even staying in a hotel. But not much in the way of an every day projector at home.
Thanks! What do you think the cheapest decent option out there is?
@@thischannelisdeleted I don’t know know honestly. Because there is a lot of options out there at the low price point. Really depends what depends what features are most important to you. I would just research them carefully.
Maybe I missed it, but how large were you able to get the picture before the image and/or brightness started to degrade significantly?
The projector says it can do 250” but I think you’d be best to do around 100-150”
That is so fetch ! 💯
That looks like a cool little projector Jeff could come in handy during travel
Good review, but major inconsistencies in volume level throughout the video
I apologize. Not sure what happened there
Only thing stopping me from using a projector for movies is the fact that i would have to put it above and behind us and i would need a super long cable to get from there to the sound bar on the other side of the room. Im pretty sure running an hdmi signal 25 feet or more will degrade the signal quality.
Running the cable that far wouldn’t degrade the signal, but the quality of the wire might cause issues. Also, if the cable gets worn over time, or you use multiple cables with couplers and the couplers fail, that might cause issues.
The fact that you’re using a hard wire instead of a wireless signal means that you’re getting a 1:1 version of whatever disc you’re playing. If you have a projector wirelessly connected to the player, which I’ve never seen but I’m sure it exists, then you’d be dealing with a degraded signal quality.
Just out of pure interest what's the lumens on this
I would imagine it isn’t very high on this. Most of these budget projectors are very low. Typically like 200 lumens.
Just checked. It says 170 lumens. Very low. 🤷♂️
Does this come ready calibrated to rec 709?
Check your audio levels before posting please, some spikes here that almost blew out my headphones.
I’m watching on my 5.1 system and scared my cat lol
I’m sorry I don’t know what happened with this review
@@JeffRauseo it’s ok it happens
The difference in your sound between on camera and on voice over is insane, surely you can balance those levels a bit more so you don't go from whispering to shouting? :')

The star wars press are better than the new star wars trilogy
So cheap
In 1989/1990 I bought a crt “portable” 12” tv. 4:3. 480p of course resolution.
Cost £180 back then.
Would be more than twice that much today.
Or in American money, $550 today(2022).
Velcro what a rip off
I don't understand the point of these at all and how they work. Why not just use your blu ray/4k players and big screen OLED tv.
movies outside or in a random living room. I even have taken mine to hotel before.
BTW THIS IS A AD SO TAKE EVERYTHING WITH A GRAIN OF SALT
