Indonesia’s mie lethek noodles are called “ugly,” because of their dull grayish color when cooked. We visited a factory that still makes them using 2,000-year-old methods, one of only two left in the country. They’re competing with major instant noodle manufacturers, and are struggling to survive.

This noodles name is 'Lethek', and it means 'Ugly'. As Indonesian my self, I worry about the hygene of course. Hope they will be more modern and clean❤
