Happy New Year to you and your family! I have never experienced either Royal Carribean or Celebrity. However, what I have noticed at least on Princess that they have upped their game in the buffet. That was surprising and enjoyable especially when we did not want to spend 2 hours through dinner service. I am getting the definite feeling that they are trying to take some of the crowd away from the MDR to the buffet on ships. This is hear about a lot of different lines that the buffet is getting better options. Thanks for sharing!

Hey there, Happy New Year 🎉🍾. We sailed on the Apex in March ‘23 and LOVED it. The buffet was amazing, the food in other restaurants was really good and we just loved the overall feel of the ship. Eden is something that has to be experienced to be appreciated and the food in Eden’s restaurant was some of the best food we ever had on land or sea. And you’re right, the Martini bar is THE place to hang.

Thanks. You sailed aboard their newest ship and an Edge class ship .What's it like to sail on a Millennium class or Solstice class? One hint, the Martini Bar on the Edge is like a mix between the Passport Bar and the Martini Bar on the Solstice. Also, the whole Retreat thing is a major presence on the Edge class vs. the other classes of ships.
Honestly $200 for a cabana isn’t bad. Especially when you see other lines charging much more

We just came back from a cruise on celebrity Ascent. It was amazing. Crew was outstanding.
I think good food always enhances the experience. Its a definite plus❤

Hopefully this wasn’t just for the preview sailing and it has remained; especially the lobster 🦞 & prawns 🦐. Looking forward to the martini bar. Thought the entertainment in 92’ was great. Could imagine now. Size of venues seem to be an issue on most cruise lines. Ship looks beautiful. I think no matter what cruise line or ship; there will always be likes and minor dislikes. Thanks so much.

The new Silversea luxury ship the Silver Nova doesn’t have the TV opposite the bed it’s so far away you can’t see it .

I recently heard from a different youtuber that celebrity charges an additional charge on top of the solo supplement did this happen to you as well? The additional charge was like $400 on top of the supplement they already charge for a solo cruiser just curious. FYI the youtuber i am referring to is Tony B of La Lido Loca

My wife and I recently sailed on the Celebrity Beyond, after a number of cruises on Royal Caribbean.
We liked Celebrity far better than Royal. We had a Sunset Veranda, i.e., a traditional balcony on the stern. It was nicer than any cabin we have had on Royal. (FYI, we have not been on an Oasis, Quantum, or Icon-class ship).
I've only been on two cruises so far, on the Carnival Miracle and the crown princess. The Miracle made me hate Carnival and I will never cruise with them again lol. Princess was three steps above them but as a young cruiser, I'm still looking for that "it" ship. So far my Cruises have had pretty boring activities and gear them more towards old people. I'm 32 and looking for something more lively. I've heard good things about celebrity and Royal Caribbean so I think I will try that next!

Ive been on many cruises. The room is not important. You shower and sleep there and have... thats it. Dont waste money or worry about the room
I disagree. I think everyone is different and should choose the kind of room that best fits their cruising style. I've only been on two cruises and have had interior both times. It wasn't until after the second one ended that we realized we spend a lot of time in our room and not having any windows kinda drives us crazy. I also noticed that my idea of relaxing is to sit on the upper decks and view the ocean, but my partner's idea of relaxing is watching TV in bed. Because we want to spend time together we think a balcony may be a better way to meet in the middle for us. I use to think the room didn't matter, but it does depending on how much time u actually spend in there. Maybe interior just works better with your specific style
