And we're off!!! Travel days are notoriously very full days and this one was no exception. We decided to take an early American Airlines flight to be able to arrive in the afternoon and have the rest of the day to settle and possibly hit up a park later. Due to having our American Airlines Executive credit card, it allows us use of the lounge making all airport stays enjoyable with complimentary food and drinks. Once we arrived, our bags come our priority so the wait is usually quite short and we're off to the rental car area. Because we can skip the counter, we pick and vehicle and hit the road to Disney!
I was very excited to stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for the holidays because it is completely decorated and also has the biggest Gingerbread house on property. Of course the newly renovated rooms were gorgeous! So spacious and loved all the disney detail touches throughout the room but the best thing was getting to see monorails from our balcony. So magical!!
