I love how the Republic version is melancholic and mournful, and yet a tiny bit hopeful in the end. It reflects the tragedy from KOTOR, and the Republic's attempt to repopulate it now.
I was playing swtor the other day and since the last time I played I played knight of the old republic, I found the endar spire, I knew the name but I couldn't remember where it came from, then I took a better look at the ship then at the buildings and I understood that I was on the first planet we land on in kotor. I was sad to find that this beautiful planet is now in ruins

Taris, even with its ruins, still looks beautiful. The music is also beautiful and peaceful. Well done. :)
