  • Rare interview of photek and Pfm im guessing from around 1997-98. Sorry about the crap quality this was ripped from a vhs that has been in the shed for over 10 years.

    PFM...responsible for what I consider is one of the finest intelligent drum and bass tracks of all time....The Western.

    Excellent, he was obviously talking about Solaris RE his next album, no one could have predicted how amazing it was going to be. Great stuff.

    Don't think the song was released under that title, although that may have been the working title when this interview was conducted. Anyway the song named "Find Your Way" is called PFM - Summerboy and its also on youtube. The part in this video is about half way into the song. Enjoy my friend!

    Breakbeat Era started the whole lyrics in D&B thing. Now every fucking tune has them.

    2:30 'People who want to make a commercial tune ... that's fine ...' and you can hear, playing in the background, a song typical of UK garage's descent into sell-out commercialism, MOVING TOO FAST. The singing is out of tune and the track ended up at #2 in the UK charts. The irony.
