Probably?...I think most Definitely.
Back here in 2024 - this track will live forever in my soul. Cant wait to see you all again.
Two years later and had to return to this classic gem 💎 ✌️😎✌️Sept twenty four ✨️
Even 25 years later this is still one of the best DnB tunes ever!!

Not only up there as arguably the best D&B tune ever released but also an absolute masterpiece of the electronic music scene in general. Only the absolute BEST tracks can combine so many sub-genres and carry it off so beautifully. resulting in that alluringly strange feeling of melancholy and euphoria swirling around in your brain as it takes you on an emotional rollercoaster.
Train pulling up scrreech
Absolutely
Calibre is good for that too.
@@gowsif_dnb great shout...respect...I'm 56( proper original old skool) and Calibre is still keeping the dream alive ...totally love and respect the direction Calibre has taken things...following in the footsteps of PFM , his true Elder...D n B will live on forever...the truth always does...peace

Masterpiece of music..I truly do miss these days. I close my eyes and see a thousand faces when listening to this. Faces I have never seen again..but we were all one. Wow !

We are brinigng back the 90's vibe with our tunes if you fancy having a listen on our page.
probably the best dnb tune ever made the production.the haunting the bassline..... its incredible and 30 years old. rip conrad
The video is so art school studenty yet I cry every time. Such a great tune. I’m going home to hug my wife and my rabbit.
I hope that's an animal!
@@DJAndeKarmaRecordings Hahah it was definitely not a euphamism, and sadly the poor little fella left this mortal coil not about this time last year. Nothing to do with the hugging ...

@@BillSkinton Thank you
@@BillSkinton nice lil film tnx for the title.....I knew there had to be more to the video in the track but could never find anything.
This has got to be the most polite and respectful section of RUclips comments I've ever seen :)
indeed, Sir)
Just dropping by to say 27 years this week since I bought this on a sunny day from Fopp, Byres Road, Glasgow. And it hasn't aged a day. PFM's output 94- 97 is all killer, especially The Mystics and his remixes of Mandalay - Flowers Bloom, JMJ and Richie - Free la Funk and best of all, St Etienne - The Sea
I’ll look those up
So many memories from each sample. We're old enough to have experienced the birth of these scenes. Feel sorry for the youngsters who won't ever experience such important new genres in quite the same way.
I'm only 18 and I honestly only prefer metal (when it comes to new music) but every other genre can vary from the early 2000s all the way back to classical. New music honestly just sucks now. Drum & Bass / Jungle are up there with my all time favorite genres
@@Noise_Meister_Records im 17 I had a bunch of techno and trance cds as a kid but no drum n bass and I play the synthesizer as well the new music isn't good I like synths from the 80s and 90s
@@chinossynthesizer705 Vangelis , Brian Bennett and Colin pottet are amazing synth artists from the 70s and 80s
And I'm 16 and I absolutely love jungle, it has such deep and beautiful atmosphere, yet it's still fun to listen for the fact that it has catchy rhythm, it's perfect for both listening and dancing. Personally I don't really mind not experiencing it's growth because now I don't need to wait for new songs to be released or needing to go buy vinyls, I can just listen to it from the comfort of my room for hours on end.
This musics coming back to the young folks music sounds today
Truly haunting ..a real classic...make a brilliant soundtrack ...has a cinematic vibe ..
I was born in 1995 and after 25 years I'm here listening this... Best dnb era!
Timeless.
i used to float around my bedroom listening to this after smoking loads of buckets with my mates. happy times. first time i heard it was on ltj bukems essential mix on radio one.
Me too! An we used to have some ticket's every Monday Night at this time in our chill out club. Trips which I will never forget! Greetings from Germany! 😑
+Mr Gory glad you could remember it pal
Will never forget the 1st time I heard ltj essential mix, it was like someone turned a light on for the 1st time. Still makes me tingle now.
Mr Gory Buckets and Bukem an essential mix if ever there was one
Haha thats great
Damn beautiful...I have goose bumps just to listen this master piece...😎👌❤
Rest in peace, MC Conrad.
The best, changed my life.
Cool❤
ABSOLUTE QUALITY TUNAGE!!! if you were one of the lucky ones to hear it out on a sound system made to shake your inside's then you know!
A true builder slowly taking you to paradise on a wave of bass and beats then the drop at 4:58 BLISS!!! Reminds of my childhood watching western movies at my grandparents for some strange reason.
i use to have a Randall tape with this on and i remember one sunday after Dreamscape chilling with some whacky backy in the bath with this playing seemed like the longest 8 and half minutes ever!!! (lost in the music) PFM What a Legend!!!
this track ,the western change my music palette forever ! it blow my mind apart and still does today 19 years later
❤
What a vibe, what a tune & what a masterclass in atmospheric D&B.
Love this tune! Reminds me of Tribal Gathering, early morning and the sun is shining! LTJ Bukem & Conrad 🙌
Was an epic set! I got lost in the music for sure!
it is totally a sun coming up tune.
Brilliant!
This damb fine choon is LTJ bukems for me, best record. Thanks.
I'm a 41yr old raver and this style never get old. I love this video so much
Never gets old. Sounds as good today as it did back then.
To this day, I have not seen too many live shows better than LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad in the early - mid 2000s. Great times in NYC
Quality assurance from days gone by. Absolute class
Best tune ever
But hard to watch without crying
so true
every time :(
I don't like that

PFM has produced an absolute classic ...he can look back on a great career ..but this beauty “he” must look back and be the proudest to have made and produced ..timeless classic and even after all this time still and will always sound amazing! 👍
My friends from back in the day come back to this track from time to time, it has a special place in our hearts and reminds us of when we were 19. You can’t live in those memories because they rob your now, but it’s good to be reminded and grounded thru music.
Haha heard this in drama and asked my teacher if he can send me the link absolutely astonishing 😂
In all honesty this has to be one of the finest drum and bass tunes ever, just as good 22 years later.
Even better 27 years later

PFM, nuff respect always yh! & Bless'ed Love!!
Perfect for those late night drives and relaxing.
This a fantastic old school tune, and i believe the one that has the most meaning to PFM themselves. The video has been brilliantly edited for the track..good skills. Class audio & visuals..nice
Magical memories which can't come back but at least I was there years in fact over two and half decades ago.
Wish we could teleport back to naughties, I miss those times ever so much

one of the all time greats, i used to star gaze to this tune all the time
that rich atmosphere and wavy gentle bass man. drifting away every time.
Yep. Take me back! To the beginning, I have sat on the rocks at Northead in Sydney Australia, watching the sun rise and fall to this tune so many times, wish I was there again to do it all over ,
Been listening to this track for many years and will for many to come. Absolute classic of a tune

The sound and atmosphere they created with this song is so well done that it makes me just quiet and almost paralized.Everything 'fits' perfect and even the voice comes in at the perfect moment and brings this track in just another dimension. The guns, the instruments..................

Profoundly moving and evocative track.
79 heathens gave a thumbs down. How is it remotely possible to dislike this track? If there is a heaven, this is what will be playing at the gates. My all time favourite D&B tune.
Beautifully put.
I remember owning this record on a mix CD, this record was mixed in perfectly with Salt Tanks - Eugina, so much so that for years I used to think PFM's Western & Salt Eugina's was all one record.
i think that CD you used to own was probably Paul oakenfold cream live 2 as i thought the same for many years also lol.
@@progd4v3 Yes yes thanks that was the CD! Gonna do it myself once I've bought Eugina on vinyl.
greatest track of all time Iconic nothing nowadays can touch this ,video always brings a tear to my eye still rocking in 2021

What an incredible tune, they don't make them like this one anymore
I still listen to this great tune at 2 or 3 times a week while driving to work . No doubt one of the best dnb song ever made . Love it . Unusual but great video also.

Wow! Takes me right back to the nineties as a young teenager! Hairs standing up on the back of my neck as I type this!
You just ain't beating that for emotion Definitely Award Winning
Man we used to listen to this soooo much when I was at uni in Brighton, circa 2000. One of the best.
The clip is from "I'm Here" by Spike Jonze.
ah and me was thinking they really wrecked a brand new car in 1995 but the video you mention is from 2010 I see
It really works with this historical tune. I felt such melancholy... And of course, remembering lovely, nostalgic memories of the 90s dnb/free party scene. Weirdly, also I felt a ridiculous amount of empathy for the 'soulmate' robots. Doh! 🙄 I Will check out the original clip. Thanks for the heads up x
Bukem made timeless tunes, without using many samples, and to this day stands as the king of atmospheric D&B. We used to call it intelligent D&B back in the day. Never went down too well if you'd drop it at a D&B gig but defo one for chillin out to. The version with Conrad giving any MC a run for their money is absolute classic.
@4:59 is the pay off! at this moment a hush would overcome the dancefloor .... pure ecstasy! then the drop.....cant explain it to you ...
Playing this on a car trip by night, by train at any time, by bus anywhere..
Some tunes just are just touching something inside, and watching the comments just comfirms it.
emotional intelligence

its 2020 and still. I remember the feeling this track gave me. unforgottable
When I realize I’m not young anymore but there is still so much to explore and experience. Can I maintain that same youthful energy and attitude I had 20 years ago or do I keep it moving as if nothing is special?
absolutely atmospheric, classic. I used to rince this with drift to the centre. shout going out to the producer. all old school '93' jocks at rude fm.

the build up to the guitar part is my favorite part. It just sounds so right and well needed. The guitar.
