I think 10 (4 tickets). One time I was pulled over in my home town by a park ranger (didn’t know that was a thing) for making an illegal left turn and running a light.
Pulled over once for speeding to help a friend move from his house 🏡 I got let off easier, because they saw I had license for driving a 15 passenger van for youth 😂 and my driving record was clean up until that point.
I’ve been pulled over maybe 5 times. The most ridiculous was at 2am. I was coming home from my birthday party and had balloons painted all over my car from my friends. The officer said he pulled me over because “I was speeding” - I wasn’t. He was just pulling me over to try to catch a drunk driver 🙄
I’ve been pulled over 5 times. Only ever had 2 tickets. One time it was for my “license plate light” not being on. It was a DUI pullover (cause it was late at night) but I was stone sober, just cruising late night lol.
I got pulled over for suspicion of DUI because the officer said I made a lane change without using my turn signal. Except 1) I don’t drink ever so I definitely wasn’t DUI and 2) I hadn’t gotten out of the right hand lane since I had gotten on the highway about 10 miles back. It was late at night and I think the officer lost track of which taillights it was following and pulled me over by mistake. Another time that wasn’t me - going to college in western Pennsylvania near the Ohio border. We wanted to go to a movie theater in Ohio. I’m following another kid in my car with both of our cars full of students. We are flying through backroads. Cop does a 180 in the middle of the road to pull over my buddy who is driving the car in front of me. I go park and hide in a nearby parking lot so they don’t come after me next. He gets out of a ticket because he was a college student from Maine, attending school in Pennsylvania, getting pulled over in Ohio…and he doesn’t have his wallet and license with him because he left it in his room. I think the paperwork would have been too confusing so he got off with a warning.
I was thinking hang out time 😅. I would argue that the youth who are passionate and consistent in attending are equally as important for the GROWTH of your youth group. 😉
❓QUESTION OF THE DAY: How many times have you been pulled over and what was the weirdest reason why?❓

@@nathanchurchill6030 you might have the record....yeah, I didn't know park rangers could do that either!

@pastoradam7476 - that's the worst to get pulled over and you aren't even the right car!

@growtocycle6992 - definitely an important part of the equation 😁
