Is this different now? I tried this and they did not give me all of these options. It doesn’t give me any targeting besides geographic and makes me pay for a whole month. $93 for 2000 impressions per month doesn’t seem like a good deal. Second question: are next door ads better than local deals? I ran a local deal for pretty cheap. They say I got 73,000 views and zero clicks. Something seems very off here.
It sounds like your in the 'sponsor' a zip code or area part of the ads. That is similar to FB 'boost' option. You'll want to register for an agency account with NAC. I am going to make a video that goes over the differences in great detail and will comment back with the link.
@@DigitalSargeant Is there a simple fix to get to the agency screen? This lite version seems like I could just be at the total mercy of Nextdoor and probably just throwing my ad money away.
Hi, thank you for your comprehensive video explanation of how to create campaigns on ND. It was super helpful. Can I ask, is it possible to create adverts for a job application on ND eg. Sales and Marketing executive. Apply now.
You make some specific direction if using smaller versus larger budget, that is great thank you! What would you consider a "smaller budget" versus a "larger budget"?
Unfortunately there isn't an option to add admins at this time. Has to be universal password. Be sure to get with your rep regarding historical data transfer.
Thank you for the great info! Ive looked into buying a zip code...sponser I think you call it...but my zip code is not available. Whay you are talking about is different than that I am assuming correct? I have already set up a page for my business last year, but really havent done anything with it.
I'm confused abou this also, because the ads center doesn't recognize my Nextdoor business account which sponsors neighborhoods. Their helps center isn't very helfpul.
Their customer support is lacking, to say the least. I look at purchasing zip codes as a 'sponsor' from the listing dashboard like FB's 'boost' option. It *could* work but you get very limited tools and data. You get far, far more options inside the self-serve platform at ads.nextdoor.com
So I am trying to set this up for a business I manage, but I literally will not let me sign in with the account info to the ads page side of things. It does not even give me an error. We have a business page created and everything, so I am not sure if Nextdoor is having an issue currently, ANY info would help! Thank you again for sharing. Supper helpful
I’ve noticed some login direct issues between ads and personal pages. I’d try in a private window with cleared cache and if it still doesn’t work then reach out to ads support. They seem far more responsive than the ‘personal’ side.
Yes they are all about the money. They will suspend your personal account but allow your business account because they are getting paid for it!!! This is a rebranded business due to shady practices!!!
Hey Digital Sargeant, you made a lot of comments towards higher verse lower budgets. However, there was no range given for what that would be considered. Please let me know what you consider to be a high verse low budget for ad spend.
How is the ads center different from my Nextdoor business account? My business account only allows "tips" and "conversation starters". I've seen these types of ads in my personal feed and don't think they're very good. Did I just waste money sponsoring a neighborhood with my business account?
I believe you'd have more control in the ad dashboard. Giving you more objective options. Not a waste but not giving you the most control. I'd predict it's similar to FB's 'boost' option.
Thanks for this great post! Do you know how to create a SPONSORED POST? Meaning, I bought a specific zip code and would like to advertise in that area.
You'd need to reach out to them to create an advertiser dashboard. Start here: help.nextdoor.com/s/article/About-advertising-on-Nextdoor?language=en_US
Does everyone's business pages look like that because mine does not! Mine is listed as my business so its not like I signed up wrong. On the left hand side mine lists out Insights, Manage Plan, Content etc....
Hey just wanted to comment and say thanks for the video. You’re a big help and as I see, you’ve been hustling hard for awhile now. You deserve a lot more subs as you’re bringing incredible value to us all. Thank you for your hard work! 😎
Hey thanks so much for this kind comment! That’s right, been hustling with Digital Sargeant since the pandemic to replace missing income. It may be my side hustle but it’s my life passion!
@@DigitalSargeant I love it! Loving hearing that, turning a rough situation into a profitable and productive passion of yours! The pandemic forced me to think bigger than my main transporting job that got shutdown and build another business that is nearly pandemic proof and another RUclips channel for it. That’s why I’m on here for help with advertising on Nextdoor and such haha your effort is greatly appreciated and noticed. I have many videos to binge watch! 😎
Thank you, I will make a video on this topic. In short, the sponsor zip code has far more limited capabilities than managing the ad within the ads manager. The sponsor doesn't give you a lot of options in terms of creative, what the ad looks like, etc. I tried it for a business and it didn't work out very well so we removed it and stayed with the ads dashboard.
Hi there ! I own a pressure washing co in Orlando . Do you offer marketing services ? Looking for someone to do Nextdoor / sponsorship ads for me Thanks !
This seems misleading since only national brands can use this method, not local businesses such as mine! Everyone here is probably a local business owner so we're relegated to Neighborhood Sponsorships, which is different.
How are you trying to add your business? I am currently managing all local businesses on ND - including a local no profit, a moonshine distillery, an appliance repair business, a construction company and my digital marketing agency. All local businesses - not national. They will turn you down if you fall into a 'special category' such as employment, equal housing opportunity, etc

Hi. Thanks for your informative video. I am not seeing these screens on my end. What am I doing incorrectly? I await your guidance. Thanks
Very nice. But my page is not showing this option it’s just showing Nac option. How can I access the same page you are?
You need to apply to use NAC
Did next door changed the way they do it? I can't find away to get to what you show on the video?
You more than likely are using the LITE version
How do I get from the lite environment to the more robust environment that you are working in in this video? Thank you.
You would need to apply for it: business.nextdoor.com/neighborhood-ad-center
@@DigitalSargeant Even if I already have a login account for the lite environment?

What is considered small or big on this platform?
Hi, what did you mean by CPM and CPC? I don't know what those letters stand for.
Great question! CPC = cost per click and CPM = cost per millie (thousand)

So many issues with next door like sign in like it’s so difficult to just get it to work
